CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 2 out of 5 by Poor Performance First of all, I tried to like this product, I really did. As Los Angeles residents, my wife and I we aren't satisfied with the tap water. As a result, we opted for Sparklets water delivery. However, we are tired of paying high prices for it. We tried an under the sink osmosis product with little installation success. It leaked. After some online research we found the Kube and thought it could be what we were looking for. The installation was a snap! The product itself is attractive. The filters are large and seemed more than capable to filter water. According to the company, it is NSF certified, So why not give it a try? The taste of the water turned out to be a huge let down. We were not pleased with it at all. Better tasting coffee? I think not. We had it for about 3 weeks thinking, perhaps, the bad taste would go away. We followed the instalation instructions as directed. But it still tasted awful. So we bought a water tester. The lower the number, the better the quality of the water. The Kube did not perform as we had hoped. We compared Sparklets (11), tap (480), and Kube water (367) even our $20 Brita pitcher (215) was better. Perhaps our expectations were too high. For the money we paid ($250), we were hoping for better water. December 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Only two tools required Very easy to install and use, however you need to read the manual because the video is missing a step. Not sure if Kube removes what it claims, because the water was not tested to verify the claim. Kube is better than other filtration systems because: a filtered pitcher produces a limited amount of water verses unlimited with Kube; faucet filters do not fit all faucets unlike Kube which doesn't use the faucet; and other countertop systems require an additional hole drilled in the countertop while the Kube attaches directly to the water/faucet lines and uses no electricity. There will be no immediate cost savings, because I purchased this as a gift for my son and his family; he compared Kube water with his bottled water and he says the Kube has a carbon after taste which might disappear over time; so for now he’ll continue to purchase bottled water, although others in the household will use the Kube. I didn't notice the taste difference. September 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Easy to instal, even for this hapless dad We live in a 230 year old farm house in coastal New Hampshire with a well that's probably almost as old. We suffer from hard water with a heavy metallic after taste & traces of arsenic (as identified in a recent water survey; most likely the result of 200 years of farming). We recently purchased the Kube water filter. Extremely easy to install using only a small crescent wrench & a box cutter (to trim the water hose). From start to finish it took about 20 minutes to set up. I've only had it set up for about 48 hours so we're still deciding if it was worth the investment. But I can already tell you that after 24 hours I did a home water quality test & there was ZERO traces of arsenic. With that alone I am already satisfied. This was definitely the more expensive option. But the ease if installation was well worth the extra money. We would highly recommend the Kube water filter. December 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Easy Install....Good Flow I looked at RO systems, but didn't want another hole in my granite counter. I was also disappointed with RO flow rates. This seemed to be the next best thing. This product states it provides better filtration than a typical carbon filter. Install was a snap, and we get good water flow. Water tastes great. I hope it does what it claims. I am happy with the purchase. June 30, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by KUBE really surprised me. Great value for the money. We use it for everything. Kids actually drink from the kitchen tap! June 17, 2014
