Works really well with the 39 gallon plastic drawstring bags - I doubt it would be as effective with paper. This is basically a piece of flexible plastic with handholds. When compressed and placed inside a plastic flexible bag and released - they meld to find it's natural stretch point. A paper bag would have more of a tendency to rip or tear. Also, the one thing that distracts from this is the flat area once the kwickcan has been released is only about 10 to 12" that actually lies flat on the ground ergo the need for a smaller rake when placing the leaved inside the bag. I doubt paper would conform as well as the plastic and leave gaps and trouble areas. Good luck with it! Read Less

Answer:
It should if the lawn and leaf paper bag is large enough for the Instant Container to fit inside. I use clear plastic bags since our trash hauler insists that they must be able to see what is inside the bag without opening the bag.

It likely would somewhat work, but you very likely will tear a number of paper bags if not super careful. It is real nice for plastic bags, not so much for paper.

For a product that was designed specifically for paper bags, (& half the price!) you could take a look at the leaf easy leaf chute. It works great, but I would suggest that you take a look at a quick video that is attached, which shows where to put your hands, and where to push. Can be a tad tricky without the video the first time, but once you see how it folds once, it is a breeze going forward, and only takes seconds to form the chute. Answer:
Yes. My husband has used it in the paper lawn bags from Home Depot. I assume they are all about the same size. Our yard debris must now be placed curbside in paper rather than plastic bags. As far as a bigger opening, it holds the bag open and upright making filling the bag much easier.

Answer:
most of the paper leaf bags i have seen tend to be quite narrow in circumference... these devices are designed to work the best in a regular 42 gallon plastic trash bag. however, since they are designed as a large rectangle, you may be able to fold the kwickan lengthwise to fit it in the leaf bag and hold it open, instead of widthwise to hold the larger plastic bags open. so, the answer is... maybe?

Answer:
It was really designed for bags up to 55 GAL in size. It may work on a bag that is a bit larger.
The opening will be somewhat wider, but not overall larger on a bag over 55 GAL.

Height-wise it was just right for 39 gallon bags for it to fold over a little. 30 gallon bags might just like the picture where it sits below (if that makes sense).

33-55 Gal. Portable Instant Container is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 167.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This has saved my husband from bending over, repeatedly, to pick up his piles of debris. Each pile used to need 3-4 pick ups but now he does it with one pick up. Having gone through 3 operations on his back this has made his yard work much easier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I had thought of this device! My husband and I are having to clean up trash that renters left in huge quantities on my mother's land. The QuicKan makes the job so much easier! The QuicKan slides in and keeps the bag standing while you load it. I have been using the 55 gallon contractor trash bags that Home Depot sells (separately) with the QuicKan and together, they work great. You do need to load the trash bag on a somewhat flat surface otherwise the QuicKan and bag will tip over. It still works better than a trash bag holder that my dad used to have. So, if you don't want to be stuck holding the bag, get a QuicKan today!

The plastic is so thick it's hard to make a roll out of it. Luckily it fits in the bags just by grabbing the two handles on the sides. Hopefully the thickness means it will hold up for a long time. I haven't had it for long, but it made bagging much more efficient and worked great for bagging 35 33 gal. bags of leaves a few days ago. Done with leaves for the year, I hope, but will also be very handy for grass clippings since it makes the bag stand upright and open on its own. Great product! The only negative is they don't seem to carry this in many stores. I ordered online and had to wait a couple of days, but it was delivered to the store faster than originally promised and in-store pickup was very easy.

This product makes it possible for me to bag leaves when I'm on my own, and it holds the bag open wide enough that I can get it done more quickly and easily. It's exactly what I needed, and I'm so grateful for it. I've had it for about a month now. It absolutely meets my expectations. I would advise anyone who buys it, to store it rolled up the way it was when it was delivered to them; that will help keep it from straightening out so that it will continue to spring into shape and hold your bag open for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, and very useful This is a simple piece of heavy duty sheet plastic designed to fit inside a "lawn and leaf" bag to keep it open and upright while stuffing in branches or- on it's side- while raking in leaves. It has just the right thickness memory to allow you wind it smaller for insertion and then expand to keep the bag fully open. It has cut out handles to facilitate pulling it out of the bag when it's full. Once you've used it, it's a keeper.

The KwicKan Instant Container is an incredible product that saves time, energy, and a lot of frustration - especially in the Fall of the year. It's a simple process to place in the bag and to remove when filled. Once in the bag, it is very easy to dump grass clippings or leaves. It's light-weight and because it's flat, it does not take up any room in the garage. This is a great little device that works as advertised.
