Answer:
Kwikset Model # 334 15A RND PCKT DR LCK when the latch is pressed in a pull hook will pop out and have the ability to close the door. Once the door is closed it does not have the ability to lock. The cup in the door will allow the door to slide open.

Answer:
Kwiket Model # 334 10B RND PCKT DR LCK does require pressing the latch to pull the door out of the frame. This would not be recommended for an individual with dexterity issues. It is not ADA compliant.

Answer:
Kwikset is using the term "Lock" as in a type of door hardware, however model 334 26D does not have a lock on it. The best application would be for doors that do not require a lock.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Make regular door into a pocket door We had a standard door on a hinge. A remodeling project lead us to want a pocket door. Rather than buy a new door to replace our solid wood door we wanted to convert it by using the pocket door lock. Some of the online information leads you to believe it is adjustable for the distance from the door edge to the existing door knob hole. It is not adjustable and our opening was a quarter inch too long. My creative husband decided to modify the lock and was able to install it into our existing door. I would not have been able to do this. So if you want to use this product you will need to know if it will fit properly. July 23, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy ti install, works great Just what I needed for laundry room pocket door, no lock needed this works great. December 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy conversion perfect for converting a previously drilled door (for regular knob) to a sliding door. December 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by purchase pocket door latch The door latch kit was incomplete. There was no strike box device included in the kit. According to the manufacturer from a previous email, it should have been in the kit. We have had a strike box on backorder, but we are not holding our breath on getting it. May 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Could not use it, INCOMPLETE The door latch was previously opened and parts were missing. The parts that were sent were very cheap & poor quality. March 12, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great alternative to traditional pocket door hardware This is the 2nd time I've used this hardware on a pocket door. Looks nice, easy to install and works well. March 20, 2012
