Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 215 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by One of the BEST things I've ever bought I bought this electronic deadbolt after my wife locked herself out of the house one day, & I was out of town. I / we liked it so much - I bought another one for the front door. I followed the instructions step by step and had no issues at all with the install. Now with the entry code, all we do is press the buttons to get inside & better than that, when you leave - you just press the lock button !!! No more digging for keys to go in or out. I like it - but my wife LOVES it!!!!!!!!! What else can I say - "mama is happy, so I'm REALLY happy!!! LOL March 26, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great! This device works well and was easy to install, mere minutes. Please not though that this is not of Schlage quality. The inside turn knob of the lock control is made of plastic. Not sure how long it will hold up. So far I'm very satisfied. June 16, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Key Less - Key Pad Door Lock Works great - Installation is easy - Can re-use old key tumbles (if it's a Kwckset) - Re-Keying is simple but follow instructions carefully. July 21, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unusable Unit will not retract deadbolt all the way. It leaves the dead bolt extended about 1/2". No info anywhere as to how to correct this problem. September 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great lock, battery life so so I had a similar lock in a previous home, so purchased this in my new home. I purchased it for the contemporary satin nickel look, as I like the square design. I love smart-key technology... although I have had some minor issues with copied keys with this technology. The ease of use outweighs the copy key issue. I use this on my main entry point for ease of access. Much easier than fumbling for keys and turning. Also easy to allow access for other people that may not have a key. Changing the code is also super simple. Overall a great product. Loses 1 star for price, and for not being KEVO compatible. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THE AWESOMEST, BESTEST DEADBOLT ON THE PLANET My wife and I just purchased our first house. It has a detached garage, so we wanted to use these electronic deadbolts to avoid using a key every time we wanted to run to the garage, or when coming home with a bunch of grocery's and having to fish for the right key. I love the quality of Kwikset hardware. We are a Kwikset family for sure. I used the Smart Key feature and keyed all the locks to the house to use one key. My wife fell in love with me again and found me extremely attractive when I demonstrated how awesome it was that we could use one key for all three locks to the house. Thank you Kwikset for making life easier and even saving my marriage...well, not really, but the SmartCode Electronic Deadbolt in Satin Chrome did make my marriage way cooler. Thanks a ton -Charlie [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] April 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very practical and easy to install This lock was purchased from one of home depot's daily sell emails. It must have been popular as it went on back order but the delay was less than a week. The lock seems very sturdy and was easy to install. The door we installed it on is our main entrance door and looks great. We dont have to fumble for keys and I dont have to worry about giving my 9 yr old a key to lose. it was also very easy to re-key to match the lock I took off so I dont have to carry any extra keys either. I have the 30 second auto lock feature activated and it is very handy, the only draw back is when you are home and go in and out on a regular basis, but the code is quick and easy to enter so its not that big of deal. I also dont have to go downstairs if I forget whether or not i locked the door because I know it will auto-lock. I plan on getting 2 more for the other doors. They are a bit pricey but at this point I feel it is worth it. February 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use I don't have to carry a key anymore and that's nice! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] May 12, 2016
