Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Yaspar If the inside lock edge of your door is on the left, you will need a special tool, not included, to switch the lock around. Save your time, buy one of the brands that go either way without fiddling.

I have bought many sets of these locks. They are fairly easy to install. The only issue I have with them is that the screws are sometimes hard to get to because the curve of the knob blocks a straight line path to the screw head so you really can't get straight on them with a screwdriver. Also, sometimes it is hard to line up the internal screw holes with the external so you have to wiggle it a bit to find the sweet spot. It is nice that all these lock sets by this brand are standard so if you only need to change the keying, just pop out the lock side and replace with the keyed parts from the new set. I have found that this will not work if you try to swap parts with other brands at Home Depot because the internal parts are different. It is possible to find 2 kits and sometimes even 3 kits keyed alike but you are only going to find keyed alike kits in one store, in one shelf case. It looks like they only ship keyed alike kits within cases so it is long odds of finding a matching kit in another store. It is probably impossible to buy this kit of 2 and then find a keyed alike single knob kit. However, there is a lock product at Home Depot that lets you set your own key so you can buy one of those and key it to the same key that is in this kit.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DJ Why can't the deadbolt and knob key holes be in the same direction???
I can't be the only person in the world who thinks the key holes should go in the same direction?? Its so annoying. Found a video on YouTube on how to change the lock around....had over 300k views so I guess I'm not alone. Broke the first set, another $45 later and I'm afraid to try again. Why can't they sell two different sets for doors that open both ways. Really not good planning.

This matching lock set was a good replacement for this old worn out locks in the house. It came with several sets of pre-matched keys. Easy to install and adjust in place.

The only drawback for this set is it would be nice to have packages of 3 keyed a like. The locks were easy to install.
