Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Steel Commercial Door with Welded Frame This seems like it's going to be a pretty good door, with one exception I'll get to. First, I'd like to mention a couple of things which may help those who haven't installed one yet (the DIYers, not commercial installers). First, don't even try to knock off the "tack welded" support at the bottom with a cold chisel without first grinding the welds completely flush. Even then it wasn't a piece of cake. They did not want that support to come off. Second, while every installation is different and may require different techniques, it is POSSIBLE for one person to install this door in a (wood) frame WITHOUT first removing the door, or using a spacing board after removing the welded braces, as indicated in the instructions. You just have to use a little ingenuity and watch what you are doing. For instance when the door/frame is laying on the floor, make sure the door is on the up side before trying to tip it up. Actually, I didn't remove the cord holding door shut until it was in the frame. Now then, my one big disappointment (and reason for 4 rating) for a door of this price range, is that it came cut only for one latch and no dead bolt (yes, it was obvious when I bought it). There was nothing in the instructions to indicate that a second hole could be cut. I do not like the lock to be combined with the door latch. That is not as secure as a dead bolt. I have thought of using the existing hole for the dead bolt and cutting the extra hole for the latch. QUESTION: HAS ANY ONE CUT A SECOND HOLE IN THIS DOOR FOR A DEAD BOLT? The H.D. web site doesn't have a "Community Question and Answer", so don't know if I'll get any response to this. Sure would like to know. June 1, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Instructions not the same as the product. Before we bought the door I downloaded the instructions. The instruction show the door being taken apart to fit into the door jam, but the door frame is actually welded and can not be taken apart September 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is a fine door door arrived as specified,(about a week). It had a broken glass but talked to Home Depot chat line and they sent a replacement UPS and it arrived in 3 days. Good job! December 6, 2011
