Adjustable Firewood Rack Bracket Kit is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 240.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good price The quality and weight of this rack is very good and it has a good tight fit to the pressure treated 2x4's which you buy separately. The uprights are about 4" shorter than the rack I bought a few years ago but that is not a huge problem. It appears that in order to make the packaging smaller, the manufacturer cut the uprights in half, swagged the ends so that one could fit into the other, so the height is shorter by the amount that is inserted. I would have given 5 stars if the rack was still the taller dimension.

The metal tubes are a good size diameter for extra strength. The holder can be made to any length you want with the lumber you provide. I also bolted a support stud across the top of the brackets to strengthen the side tubes to keep them from spreading under the side loading of the heavy firewood. The extra top support also helps to hold up the tarp covering the wood. I now have 6 of these wood racks and they keep the firewood stacked and dry for the winter.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wood rak There should be a "maybe" option in the "Would you recommend this" question. I did not expect this unit to be in multiple pieces. The picture and description wasn't clear on this. So I wonder about it's longevity. I had purchased a similar unit in the past where the end pieces were one piece--looking exactly like this unit. It's the difficulty you run into when you can't see it in the store I suppose.

Was easy to assemble with 4' boards and put to use immediately. I have filled racked above the rails and is doing a great job with NO bending or bowing. REALLY made the wife happy as before with attempted pile of wood on floor, was always disarray and hard to clean around. Now LARGE rack of wood is neat/organized and easy to police the area.

However, they are NOT necessary. Unit was easy to assemble and is very strong. It will hold ALL the wood I'll ever need to put on it. The fact that it is adjustable is perfect. I cut the 2X4's to fit my available space - PERFECT!!! Looks good in the living room , too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Reasonable product for wood storage I took a little more time in assembly, as I painted the 2 x 4's to match the siding on the house. Also used stainless steel screws to attach base to 2 x 4's. Used long screws to go to attach base to 2 x 4"s but not so long as to come out other side of 2 x 4. This gives uprights more stability. Good product arrived undamaged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Effective holder for firewood the current model is not quite as robust as the previous model. The current model breaks the sides down into three pieces and the old model this was one piece. The three piece approach seems a bit less sturdy due to the bolts that attach the pieces together. I assume this was done to make the package size smaller.

Unlike other racks which will rust out and have the support legs collapse, this system lasts. At the worst you just need to buy a couple of new 2X4's and you can make your rack to size, 4', 6', 8' 10' whichever you have the room for.
