Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GNAC Quick Easy Custom Organization of Wood Pile
This unit ships unassembled.
It takes about 10 minutes to assemble, if you know the difference between a flat headscrew driver and a phillips screwdriver.
I like the idea of the length being customizable by adjusting the length of the 2X4 used for the bottom rail. My location was not a standard size - who plants trees at standard distances in anticipation of having a wood pile between them?
I wish there was an option to buy recycled plastic rails instead of a standard 2X4 or a pressure treated one.
All-in-all, the unit is exaclty what we needed to organize our wood pile ( sourced mostly from falling limbs during recent storms).

The great thing about this is that you can make it as long as you want just by adding simple cheap 2x4's. I make a 4 foot for the garage and a 24' for outside. On the outside i just put them on cinder blocks to keep them off the ground.
No more slope at the end of your wood pile, keep everything nice and tidy with these racks.

I used ten foot 2x4s (any length will work) with the brackets and cross-braced them at the ends and in the middle with scrap pieces. To keep the lumber off the ground I set them on cinder blocks. Be sure the assembly sits level. I've had the brackets for only a few weeks so I don't yet know how well they will hold up over the years, but they appear to be strong and rust-proof. To help them last longer, I suggest not leaning a great deal of weight against them. After stacking the firewood, I covered it with plastic tarps (from Home Depot!). The only thing I would change about the brackets is to make them a foot taller so I could stack another layer or two of firewood.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by synchros Good, handy rack
This is the third rack I have purchased.
This rack is easy to assemble and fit just fine into not-completely-dry 2 x 4 x 8 pressure-treated boards bought at a nearby Home Depot.
Tightening down the bolts chips some of the paint. I hope that does not lead to rust at that vulnerable spot. If so, I'll spray-paint it to seal it better. After chipping one, I applied less torque to the other bolts, but less than I would like.
Overall, it is an inexpensive solution to keeping firewood off the ground. Keep the heaviest pieces on the bottom, and consider some additional sacrificial pressure-treated pieces underneath the whole unit to keep the whole stack further off the ground.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Budrosky1 Excellent product for price
After reading other reviews and the instructions, I decided to add a few more treated 2 x 4s to the bottom (see photo). It is very solid and does not tilt even with the heavy load in it. I bought it for my 81 year old mother who burns a fire almost every day during the winter and needs a healthy supply of dry wood on hand, and she's "tickled pink" with it. It looks great and functions just as I had hoped.

I built mine to 12 feet long and put 2 sets together.
Easy to build and works like it should.
My neighbors like how they look so neet and actually add to the Rustic Charm of the area.

Very cost efient way to stack your wood. Just buy the desired length of 2x4 two of them. Screw it together and start stacking your wood !!! This is my 2nd set, and plan on ordering another once I drop and cut up some more trees on my property.
