I haul my firewood across a concrete patio and this cart works great for me--can't vouch for hauling across dirt or rough terrain but with pneumatic tires it should be fine. This was easy to put together--I had to find a 10mm socket (in the garage) and I used a small impact drill (or ratchet would have worked)...all the parts were included.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sharmyn A fabulous cart for the price
I was afraid the small wheels wouldn't roll up my high garage step with a full load of wood but it was actually a lot easier that my former cart with the large wheels. Assembly was a breeze too.

Assembly Simple, Sturdy Construction. Holds wood securely. Cover is a nice option. Big wheels are important feature.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Hobie Addendum to previous review - poor quality tires
In my earlier review, I noted that the tire tube had a hole in it and the wheels fell off. I purchased a replacement tube at my local home and auto store and replaced the cotter pins that were much too small with a larger size and was back in business.
Fast forward 15-months. The tires disintegrated. This winter I hauled in two loads of wood per week from my woodshed across a snow covered yard. (And no, I don't live on a chemical dump site!) A week ago I noticed that one of the tires was flat - again. I pulled the tire off the rim, removed the tube, and found the hole, but there was no obvious nail or other foreign object causing the puncture. Upon further inspection of the tire, I found that it was severely cracked in several places on the tread area, so much so, that when I held it up to a light source, you could see right through it in places. I pulled the other tire and wheel assembly off and, while not yet flat, it was in similar deteriorated condition. I purchased two new tires and tubes from Amazon and we're back in business.

Can't find fault with overall design and construction - so far. Larger cotter pins and pre-lubricated wheel bearings would preclude bad reviews?

I heat primarily with wood and rather than carry (5 trips) the wood, this cart handles it well. For my small house, one cart load takes care of a 24 hour heating cycle. Another benefit is that I can roll the cart up near the stove and it brings the wood up to room temp which helps it to catch when placed in stove. I have only had this for several weeks so I cannot attest to it's long term durability but, looks like it will last. Balance is good. You do not need to brace the axle as you might with a hand truck when starting off. Tires roll really well up and over 7" threshold. The ONLY thing that was a little off putting was the odor from tires. You will want to try and wash the tires if you are keeping this in your living area.
