I've been using this flashlight for a couple of years now on nearly a daily basis. It is solidly built from Aluminum and the switches are well designed and reliable. I usually find the switch to be the first thing to break on flashlights, but as of yet they have been solid on this one. As mentioned in the description each button is textured differently so you can find the right color without looking, but it is subtle and I generally have to use my fingernail across the button to find it for sure. Just the tip of the finger is usually not enough to tell the difference, especially in a hurry. The button for white has a tight cross-hatch pattern (the same as on the body of the flashlight) while the button for red is smooth.
The white is bright - very bright. It also has a nice flood pattern that gives a broad, wide beam. I have another flashlight with a narrower beam that is too focused to use in tight quarters (where I usually use it) but this one works well. It's not particularly good for really long distances where a tighter beam helps (such as more than 50-100 feet).
It uses 3 AAA batteries which was essential as button batteries are way too expensive. The batteries go into a holder that is well designed and I haven't had any issues with it. The flashlight stays quite bright and useful until the batteries are nearly dead. When I start to notice it getting dimmer the batteries are usually at less than 20% remaining according to my tester.
It comes with a belt holster that is very useful, but as with most holsters after a couple of years of use the Velcro no longer keeps it closed. That's probably the only thing I would change: make it have a magnetic or snap closure instead of Velcro.
I now have two flashlights that I use regularly - both from this company - and they are both great. This dual-color one is my primary daily workhorse.
