it will carry a heavy load if you have enough support under it. See my pergola in my review below. I can attest that it will support my weight and the cells won't collapse if I stand on a it with a beam under it.

This applies the joiner piece (J channel) between two sheets, I see the water trapped there and it's turning a little green.
This also applies to any dirt/dust on top of the sheet, in hindsight, I should have order the hammer glass, you don't see all the dirts. But it could also be that my slope is pretty flat. Good luck. Read Less

Answer:
Hi lulu9sgak,
This product does not come in 1/2 inch thickness.
As far as storm protection goes it is not designed to carry a snow load and will fail. However in vertical glazing it will work fine.

Answer:
The material will not stand up to be used as a tabletop. It will dent if you put enough pressure on it with your thumb. This is not solid 1/4" inch, Mutlwall is like corrugated cardboard.

Answer:
No, it is not roofing. The sheet is flat with corrugations sandwiched in between two very thin sheets. It is like the structure of carboard or coroplast but made out of polycarbonate.

Answer:
This can be used as roofing, often times for greenhouses. The material just needs to have a pitch in it so the water rolls off.

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 23 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent material, easy to work with. I used these panels & 2" x 2" frames to make window well covers for my mother's condo. The material is lightweight, provides light transmission while also obscuring the view and offers some insulating qualities. It cuts like butter with a rotary saw and it's also flexible, but unlikely to break. The only issue is that if you stand on it they recommend using a board to distribute the weight so the material won't crease or rip. October 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Makes a good skylight lens replacement Cuts easily without tearing. Sealant had no effect on clarity. October 3, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great to be able to get double wall polycarbonate I've wanted to try double wall polycarbonate for a long time but it often has to be shipped freight. Great to be able to get a single sheet from home depot. It arrived well packaged. A huge box, but very light. I took it home on top of my car without a roof rack, just strapped to the top. (local roads only; no freeways). Polycarbonate cut easily using a jig saw with a fairly fine-toothed blade. September 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by This Glass Is Hot The thermoclear poly sheet was the perfect solution for my solar furnace. I just wish it came in smaller sheets. At 48 by 96 it was a bit too big and I had to waste quite a bit of material that I paid for. April 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quality product Use product to make well covers. Easy to cut and assemble. The price is a lot cheaper than solid lexan and does the job well. September 13, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by corrugated polycarbonate I bought this product thinking that it was a sheet of solid polycarbonate. I wasn't sure what the description meant by "multiwall," and the pictures only gave a thumbnail sized view (it looks like it has recently been updated and is easier to see zoomed in), so I was a bit surprised when my order arrived. If you are familiar with the product coroplast, that is what this is, except made of polycarbonate. For what it is, it is a pretty cool product. Very light, and relatively transparent (the plastic is very transparent, but the ridges diffuse the light a bit). It was easy to cut...score with a utility knife, bend and score the back to separate. I rated the value a bit lower, because it seems kind of high priced for a multiwall product. I attached a few pics so you can see how it handles light. I used it for a phone booth I was making for a stage sketch. Wall on the right is standard polycarbonate, the back walls are with this multiwall product. March 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product Used this product to enclose an outdoor shower roof and windows. Worked great. Easy to cut with a 140 tooth blade. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to find twinwall for greenhouse I needed a replacement panel for my hobby greenhouse. To buy it online from the greenhouse company came with a shipping/crating charge of $180 for a $60 panel! The company suggested trying Home Depot. They special ordered it for me for about $82 with NO shipping surcharge. Good deal! October 13, 2015
