Have had this unit about a month. Had to have warranty service on it, because the unit would not cool to the set point (set to 65, only cooled to 70). Works as it should now. I am giving a high rating because the customer service was impressive. Phone answered quickly, official LG service person sent to my house the next day. Parts were shipped quickly, and the repair was completed within 3 days. Way to go, LG.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Willum Bought this unit to replace an older model that had started to make some strange noises.
This new unit works great. It is used in a large bedroom in Arizona. Unit turns off when temperature is reached, saving electricity. Remote works but we rarely use it. Installation was easy, sound is not a problem and filter is easy to clean. I looked into other models before purchasing this unit but this was the best choice for us. We are very statisfied.

We've had this window unit for a little more than a month, and we've run it most every night. I was probably overkill for an 11 by 17 foot room, but I made the decision that I'd rather have too much oomph than not enough as the hot Los Angeles nights kick in later this summer. It's relatively quiet. Overall, we're very pleased with it so far.

We were very pleased with the LG air conditioner. It actually cooled our whole down stairs without any trouble. We liked the automatic temp control and the use of the remote control. A very good air conditioner.

Our old AC failed during the height of the summer heat. We purchased this LG air conditioner because we had a great experience with our other LG air conditioner. We were extremely disappointed. It just blew hot air. A call to LG customer service and we were told it would be at least two weeks before their scheduling team would get back to us to schedule a service appointment. Three weeks later they called back. No excuse for that kind of customer service. They told us there was no one in the Albany, NY area to service the AC. We brought it back to Home Depot and they refunded the purchase price with tax.
SO DISAPPOINTED WITH LG. All done with this company!
