The LG LP153HD3B 14,900/15,100 BTU Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner with 10,500/11,900 BTU Heat Pump provides your guests with a truly quiet, comfortable room. The dual motor configuration allows the lowest sound rating in the industry while also promoting the highest level of energy efficiency which translates into increased guest satisfaction and energy savings. Plus, LG's patented Gold Fin anti-corrosive treatment protects the unit from the corrosive effects of outside air and extends the overall operating life of the unit. This unit requires a special 208-Volt - 230-Volt electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115V household electrical outlet. Wall sleeves and grills are sold separately.

Since I couldn't find the owner's manual on LG's site and there can be more than one type of amperage for a "220V" plug/outlet, my recommendation is for you to contact LG directly.
You can call them at (800) 243-0000
LG Consumer Electronics, Appliances, Mobile Phones, Monitors, Data Storage,
Window/Wall/Portable A/C
(6 am - 12 pm CST)
They can then give you technical advice on the correct outlet to Read More

They can then give you technical advice on the correct outlet to use. Most A/C unit this size are around 15-20 amps, and if that is the case, you'd need 12-3 NM wire to run through the wall to feed it and use the correct amp breaker (20 amp for 12 gauge wire, 15 amp for 14 gauge).
But again, contact LG directly for an exact answer.

Pickup at the store was a bit long, but a employee was there to help me load it onto my car. It weighed about 100 lbs. Installation was easy and it worked perfectly upon startup. I would recommend the product December 10, 2014
