Want it delivered to your home? Search Internet # 203393711. Stay comfortable no matter the weather or season with the LG 18,000 BTU Heat/Cool Window Air Conditioner w/ Remote (LW1812HR). This 18,000 BTU window AC features multiple fan speeds for those who get really hot or cold, and outdoor air venting to bring fresh outdoor air in to replace the stale, stuffy indoor air that most houses have. The auto restart function allows the fan to restart on the same settings after it unexpectedly shuts off (like during power failures or surges). The built-in Energy Saver button allows the fan and compressor to turn off when the desired room temperature is reached, so you don't have to worry about overcooling or overheating your room. This heat and cool window air conditioner is good for a room size of up to 25 x 40 ft (1000 sq ft).

Rated 1.8 out of 5 by 10 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by One BIG drawback Overall I'm very pleased with the unit. However, I have one major complaint. The fan runs continuously. Once the thermostat reaches the set temp, the compressor or heater shut off but the fan never does. January 15, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by 20X24 Room 480 SQ Ft This unit cools the room well but when it comes to heating it is bad on your electric bill. Sample ($399 and 499) a month. I didn't know it was that my bill was that bad till it was to late. It does not get hot even it you have it on 86 degrees which is the max temp on the unit. I am looking for another option( NOT LG) to heat my room cause I cant afford the electric to run a unit that is not heating but costing your pocket. November 30, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unit broke within 2 years I bought this unit for a small garage-workshop which I use seldom. And in less than 2 years the unit's electrical system started acting up turning itself on and off with or without the remote. I took the batteries out of the remote thinkiing it was the remote but it wasn't. Regardless, after few days of on and off, the unit finally just stopped working. Totally dead. Not sure if I want to put more money into repairing it or just buy another one. For sure. IT WILL NOT BE THIS BRAND AT ALL. TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT. July 11, 2013
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Do not buy this brand I purchased 3 of these units for rental houses. One has broken down 3 times. The other 2 have broken at least once. Units do not heat well and run up the electric bill. I will not be buying this brand again. I have a different brand that I purchased 4 years ago and have never had any trouble with it. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by TROUBLE I have had this unit for just over 5 years but have used it very little. It does cool and heat well. The buttons on the unit stopped working after about 1 or 2 years so the only way I can operate it is with the remote. Now the bearings in the fan motor are worn-out (Remember this unit has very little run time) so I am goimg to replace the Expensive motor. If the remote quits too, I will disconnect the electronics and install a regular thermostat. For the price of this unit I expected quality but got TROUBLE instead. April 16, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Stopped cooling after one year of service. Finished with LG. Purchased this unit for my shop last summer, now one year later it stopped cooling. Most likely a leak and low on gas. Having an HVAC tech to repair would most likely cost as much as a new unit. June 27, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Terrible Track Record We purchased 1 and it had to be replaced within a year and the replacement unit has now quit working a little over the 1 year warranty. This unit has serious problems and the techs don't know how to fix it. They replaced parts but did not correct the problem. June 26, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste your time or money I have had several LG window units in my history as a renter. My landlord just purchased this 18000 BTU unit with heat. This untit is supposed to cool a 1000 sq ft space. I have a hard time feeling the air blow at the end of the room it's located in. It IS cooling the apartment overall but if you are used to units with a lot of power that you can feel from one room to the next, do not buy this unit. If i had to describe it, let's use cars as an example. LG units are the golf car of Window units. Can you get around in them, Yes. Will your hair blow in the wind, will you get the Zoom Zoom effect? No. I used the energy saver option- talk about sweat fest. I don't see myself using the energy saver much on this unit, go with a Frigidaire you won't be dissapointed. The only plus i can say about this is it's quiet, as a golf car engine would be. August 18, 2014
