Microwave failed after 16 months of use. The unit looked nice but not worth the cost. LG customer service said hey knew about the issues with this unit but could not do anything to help me except have me send it in which would have cost more than the microwave is worth. Not worth the great price if it is just going to fail and you have to buy another one.

Easy to learn controls. Menu options take a bit to learn but you can always look at the charts in the manual which I do all the time. This is a pleasure to use and is large enough for most ANY kind of dish.

Have only had this a month. It's replacing a 1100 watt LG microwave built in 2005. I can't speak about it's energy efficiency because I haven't run it long enough to see a bill. The higher wattage hasn't blown the circut it's plugged into nor do the lights dim (20 amp). It's large and blends well with my other kitchen appliances. Most microwave food items base their cooking times on 1100 watt ovens, so this one has plenty. It has rounded corners in the rear which are easier to clean vs a squared corner. I basically use this by punching in a time and then starting it, but it has many more features.

This microwave looks sleek and trim and offers a wider variety of functions than the average microwave for our family on the go. With even heating and extended time/heat options I'm happy with this product as it can easily warm a range of items (or cook them if need be). Great buy for the money!

It's amazing what these things can do! My wife is thrilled with her new machine. We bought online and it was ready for pick-up in our store just a few minutes later.

This purchase was for an identical model replacement to failed unit bought last year. First unit failure occurred within the twelve month warranty period (Control pad would not accept entered time and had trouble starting/stopping after door had been closed). Only bought this same model again because the unit was perfect fit for space.
LG would not cover repair on first unit without original Home Depot receipt despite evidence of purchase via credit card. Further, after calling several local LG authorized repair centers listed on LG website, none within 30 mile radius of my metro area serviced microwaves anyway.

had for 10 months and something burned out. Horrible burning smell. Been dealing with customer service for 2 hours now and no results.

Purchased the microwave less than a year ago, tried to get support help, and the only support i received was take the microwave to a repair shop and get it fixed.now i have to be without the piece of junk for a week while they see if it can be fixed. I will never by another lg product. Waste of $200.
