Very happy with this product and would highly recommend it. The minimal effort needed to keep the lint trap clean it easy if you keep up with it. One note - as with many front loading washers, this one drains to the front. Small pieces (socks, baby clothes, breast pads) can become caught between the door and the gusset and do not not dry. However, this is easily fixed with a lingerie bag. In fact, my husband and I use HE detergent packets and once or twice found remnants of the packet near the door, as it became caught also. Now we simply put the packet in a lingerie bag along with smaller items, and problem solved. As to drying - you will have more success if you use the timed drying rather than the sensor. The sensor tends to overdry, and clothes get very hot. Tshirts with logos can get very warm, and at least in the beginning, take on a slightly toasted smell because the drying time is so much longer than a conventional dryer. We solved this problem with a small amount of fabric softener in each load. Happy laundry!

I have this in an rv and it will wash and dry 7 full sized towels nicely. Home depot guys delivered and put it in its place. Easy to use and does a great job washing clothes. Takes about 3.5 hours to wash a normal load of clothes. I set it in morning before I leave. Uses very little water and isn't loud. Will vibrate the coach on spin but it's a machine in a trailer so I expected it. The best part is you only load 1 machine 1 time to wash and dry. 2 machines seem like a waste compared to this beauty. Buy it, you won't regret it.

We chose the smaller machine because the bigger unit says you would have to pull half of the wet cloths out before drying for all of the cloths to get dry. With that said this machine is the perfect size. We have 2 small laundry baskets... when one is full we throw in in for wash and dry.... We set the time delay at night, so it will be finished when we wake up. AMAZING FEATURE!!!! Even if I decide to hit snooze a few times the machine stays in "Cool Down" mode, and every few minutes it will toss the cloths so they don't get wrinkled. I have only used one wash setting so far, but so far so good. We have gained so much storage space without having 2 machines. This is an organizers dream! I love it! So happy with our purchase. Also delivery was quick and painless. Thanks Home Depot!

We used a similar product while living in Europe in the late 90's and have been waiting for them to become available in the states as a home unit rather than those for RVs or boats. We have only run about 10 loads so far ranging from normal shirts/pants to sheets/towels and even some baby clothes. Using the dryer sensor on normal rather than a timed dry, load times have run between 2 and 4 hours from start dirty to pull out clean and dry.
The unit only requires a 20 amp breaker on 120 volt service so we were able to remove the old washer/dryer 240 volt service and use the freed up power overhead to swap our hot water tank for a tankless water heater.
It took about 15 minutes to level the unit. We have not experienced any vibration or appliance creep (concrete floor) and have used the extra high spin speed for about half of our loads. We also checked with the neighbors below, above and next door and they have not heard or felt anything either.
We have not yet used all of the available cycles so we did not rate the features a five. But the unit has been easy to customize settings per load and let us change wash times, temperatures, spin speeds, etc. from the selected cycle defaults. We have not had the unit long enough to rate the long term quality.
The LG unit was not the least expensive combo available, but it has the largest capacity for the under counter space we had. It is working up to our expectations and we find it to be a tremendous value. We are looking forward to at least 7 years of trouble free service like we had from our previous unit (we had used other unit 7 years when we left Europe so we don't know how long it actually lasted after that).

it's capacity is larger than I was expecting. yes, it really takes over 3 hours to cycle through, BUT it's like magic... you put in dirty clothes, and three hours later clean and dry clothes come out! outstanding for my tiny home and simplified life. happy.

It may just be me but this washer takes like 5 hours to due one load and my cloths never get dry. unless there is one towel in there and it never get all the way dry. This is the biggest wast of money I have ever spent. If you buy this because it a space saver and they look nice you will be shocked how bad of an idea that was. I absolutely hate it worst washer and dryer I have ever had.

So far, I'm really pleased. Does a quality job washing - better than my previous Maytag... Love the "one-stop" wash/dry/done!

The good news is that the machine works great. The clothes get clean. It is capable of washing even a large quilt, as long as I take it out and air-dry it. The bad news: Drying heavy items such as a load of jeans takes a very long time. The easiest way I found is to start this load in the evening, and it will be finished and dry in the morning. The vibration during the spin cycle shakes my third floor apartment, but it only lasts for a few minutes. I suspect that almost any washing machine would do the same thing. Overall, I am very pleased with this machine.
