The good news is that the machine works great. The clothes get clean. It is capable of washing even a large quilt, as long as I take it out and air-dry it. The bad news: Drying heavy items such as a load of jeans takes a very long time. The easiest way I found is to start this load in the evening, and it will be finished and dry in the morning. The vibration during the spin cycle shakes my third floor apartment, but it only lasts for a few minutes. I suspect that almost any washing machine would do the same thing. Overall, I am very pleased with this machine.

We wash frequent small loads, but since there is no need to move clean wet laundry to a dryer, it saves a step.

I had to move to an apartment. I am highly allergic to odors. I washed my clothes at a laundry mat, using my own free and clear detergent and could not wear them.
I read all of the reviews on this product. Some not too good, but I had no choice, but to purchase it.
I had to hook it up to my kitchen sink. The delivery man, said it could not be done and did not leave the washer.
I called Home Depot and a employee named Charles helped me. I then reordered the washing machine. I got an adapter for my kitchen faucet and then got a hose Y. Works great. I put a lint screen on the drain hose. There isn't too much water, that drains out at one time, so the sink can't run over.
According to the reviews, it takes 3 to 5 hours to dry. A rep. at LG told me, that this machine will not dry at all. I would have to hang dry everything I washed. I put in some camisoles and T shirts. When finished washing, I could hang the camisoles to dry, but the T shirts were too wrinkled. I put them back in to dry. I set it for 120 minuets, thinking I would then take them out, and hang them up to finish drying. But, they were dry with the normal T shirt wrinkles. I have only used this machine 5 times and I love it.
I am enclosing some pictures of my kitchen sink.

I purchased the LG 2.3 cubic ft washer and electric ventless dryer about 3 weeks ago. I am quite satisfied with the product. I replaced a 15 year old beast of a washer and dryer (vented) with this new unit. It freed up valuable storage space in my laundry room and is saving me money on water and electricity. I used similar units while stationed in Germany and got used to the longer wash cycles and how to tweak the various settings. If you don't know how to use certain features, you not only have the manual but can YouTube this unit and watch instructional videos. I looked up how to use the drying feature without the wash cycle on YouTube and it works....the LG manual tells you something snarky like, if you want to only dry something you should have purchased a separate washer and dryer...yeah, thanks for nothing LG on that one. It's a good purchase if you are single or a small family...would recommend the bigger capacity model for a family of more than 3 people.

We were excited for this space saving and energy efficient machine. We were overly happy with it for about a month, than it broke the first time. The machine failed and filled its self with water while the power was off and when we opened the door to begin a load,we gallons of water flood our floor. Once we got that problem fixed it ran perfect again for about another month. This time the gasket that seals the door failed and again allowed gallons of water to flood our home. We spent a ton of money on this and we've had to spend hundreds in repairs to the machine and our home on top of that. It is energy efficient though, since you cant use it ever.......

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BurienGal Our friend "R2D2"
My mom and I love our little combo! Named it R2D2 because it's white with flashing lights and emits cute tunes at the end of dry and cool down cycles. Works just great though if you have a large amount of laundry or kids to wash up for this probably isn't for you because it can take 6 hours to do one load. Perfect for a small space and small family. We have gotten into the habit of starting a load every morning but you could also do your laundry at night while you sleep. There is some vibration on final spin out but we put 4 vibration pads under the feet which cut that down to a minimum. Added value: we probably have the only one in our city - quite the conversation starter!

We used washers like this in a recent Europe trip, while using AirBnB. So, we knew what to expect from this type of product. We expected small loads and slightly damp clothes. However, the capabilities of this machine have exceeded our expectations. Everything has come out perfectly dry! You don't get that warm fluffy feeling like a standalone dryer. But I think that is actually better. There is no shrinkage in our clothes from this machine. Noise level is about the same as the dishwasher. Cycle time for a full wash and dry averages about 3 hours. After it is done, the machine tosses your clothes every few minutes to prevent wrinkles. Honestly, I think I prefer this machine over the standard 2 machine setup. No need to change machines halfway through, and the clothes are ready to go at the end of the cycle. If it was cheaper it would be perfect, but you get what you pay for! Definitely recommend!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happyshopper Great Washer/Dryer
I've had my washer now for a little over a month and I love it! Oddly our apartment only has washer hook ups so this was perfect for us. I love the various setting but mostly the custom setting button so I just have to turn it on hit the custom settings button and let it run for most of my loads.
When I first was looking at this model I first worried about the drying cycle. Most complained that their clothes weren't fully dry when the load was done. I've only had this problem with blankets and if I over filled the washer. But 90% of the time they are good to go.( on a normal dry setting) If not I just put them on a 30 min dry cycle. Only down side I've had with drying is for the first few weeks was we could smell burning rubber but it does go away.
Another worry was a lint trap since we have dogs, but I was happily surprised most of the hair works down to the lint trap in the bottom. Which is pretty easy to clean out. What's left over is easily cleaned off the rubber by the door. But due to our dogs being heavy shedders, I have to clean out both after each load.
All around a great machine. Though the loads tend to take 3-4 hours. I love to be able to throw everything in and go out with my clothes being all set when I get home.
