Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tiff I would recommend this washer
I needed a new washer when my old one broke. This washer is quiet and gets clothes clean. I think the quality is good. It's bigger then my old washer. I can fit a large load of laundry in. The design is interesting because the buttons are in the front portion of washer. I like this feature. It's easy to clean the surface of washer.
The cycles are a bit long and its a little hard for me to reach the bottom of the basin to retrieve clothes. I'm 5'6". But overall I'm glad I purchased this washer and would buy it again if I could do it all over.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by notaconsumer smaller size very adequate
I really have not assessed the energy efficiency myself and the quality depends on how long I it works but I have high hopes for it. I debated between this smaller foot print version of the consumer reports great ratings for the larger model and decided on the smaller size washer. The tub is very adequate size for family use. Mostly I'm happy that I could find a well rated washer that fits in a snug corner.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by BF53 Very Disappointing
I bought this washer 11 months ago, the washer is still under warranty, and the pump has already failed. The washer is very disappointing. Parts were back ordered which, in my opinion, most likely indicates that there are lots of other washers having the same problem. My experience with LG has not been a good one. I have been awaiting repairs for a week and have been told it will most likely be another 3 business days. I would never recommend this washer, nor will I ever buy another LG product because of this unfortunate experience.

After owning the washer for a few months, I would have to say it is a good machine. My only complaint is the make you buy metal washer hoses with it. If you have plastic plumbing like I do, the cables don't fit. Luckily the installation guys had ones that did.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SAHMinPA Great HE Top Loader - Quiet!!
Love my new LG washer! We replaced an eight year old Kenmore HE2t which was starting to throw error codes, and not draining correctly. When the front seal ripped, I was done!!
Our old washer was crazy loud - this LG is so quiet I don't even notice it's running. Plus my boys love the the little melody it plays when it finishes.
It has delay wash - very useful when your trying to time your day around school and work.
I've had no problem with the load sizes or clothing not wringing out during the spin cycle. These were problems other people had noted in reviews. My clothes are almost dry when they come out of the washer.
Overall a great machine!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tete Awesome Purchase
The Lg washing machine is one of the best I've ever experienced and it's so easy to work without even having to turn to the manual. Being able to watch the clothes wash through the machine is pretty cool as well. It gets my clothing washed in a timely manner which works out for me every time ! So glad I purchased this particular item !!!!

It is energy efficient and adaptable for any kind of load. Had to read instructions to review all kinds of possibilities of the machine in order to take advantage of all the features.

From the first day it did not wash the clothes as expected. They went out dirty, smelling, with many soap residues and with a lot of lints inside. The technician found the water sensor broken and changed it. The clothes were coming out dirty, better clean than before but dirty, and we asked again to book a new appointment. The technician found the gear tub defective and changed it. The clothes were coming out dirty, better clean than before, but with a lot of lints. We booked two new appointment with two different technicians because the LG customer care need a different opinion [Why???] but both technicians did not do anything because there was no mechanical or electrical malfunction. Simply the washer did not wash the clothes as expected. The last one said that lints are normal, this washer do not remove lints: you have to use the dryer for that or remove by hand. And if I like the sun and I do not want use the dryer or the dryer is broken or I have no money for the dryer do I have to wear dirty clothes? This is crazy. It can happen that one time you find a lemon in between very good washers and I think this is the case because two of he major parts of the washer were broken. The worst part of this 6 months story is the Lg customer care. They were totally unable to manage the case and try to delay the story in any way. They do not find the uploaded documentation, they do not respond to your email, they do not call back, it is totally a waste of time. HD of Saratoga was very helpful because they, especially Maria, perorated my cause and "forced" Lg to reimburse me. They did really a great customer care job, not really Lg.
