What does 240 voltage mean? Will it work with a 220 outlet?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes. Should not be a problem. I would consult HD first, but that is my outlet to voltage use and I have not had any issues.

Does the stove top cool quickly and work well at low heat? Are the buttons hard to push?

I simmer grains a lot on my coil top range near its lowest setting. I've heard smoothtops take longer to cool and that they do not simmer as well as coils, often boiling at the lowest setting. Has anyone found this to be a problem? Also, I noticed on the display model that the buttons have no tactile response. Are they at least easier to press or more responsive than the similar-looking machines at gas pumps?
Asked by: William
Stove top cools well but the buttons don't consistently work.

Yes, that's the exact measurements I have and it fit like a glove.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware We bought this oven 1.5 yrs ago and the frosted display panel has deteriorated substantially around the edges and the most used buttons! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Didnt know I could love an appliance! My husband and I bought this stove after we moved into our first house. To spare details, the stove left with the house was beyond disgusting. We settled on this one because we loved the design and look. The interior is fun too since it is a vibrant purple-blue color! The stove is so easy to use! I love that you can tap/push what you need versus turning dials for the burners. And personally, I love that instead of an annoying beeping, the stove has an almost musical tone when the timer goes off or when the oven is preheated. So far, no issues. Cooks very well and the burners work great! Again, no issues. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase and definately recommend to others!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love It Had this oven/stove for 2 weeks now and have used it for nearly every possible cooking method. First LG product that I have ever purchased and it certainly wont be the last. Love how the entire unit is digital and when desired heat is reached the unit actually plays a jingle. If you are looking for a great value and great look go for this unit. Cooks evenly on the stove top and thoroughly in the oven! Buy Buy Buy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very pleased Very attractive stove inside and out. Very spacious oven and very easy to see through window in the door. The glass top is easy to clean so far. Water boils much faster on the glasstop than on my previous range. The all digital controls are a breeze to operate while giving the stove a sleek look. Overall I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So far, so good We have had this range for about three months. The smooth cooktop, no-knob control panel, and "elementless" oven bottom are all easy to clean compared to the traditional range with knobs and elements. However, the touchpad controls aren't all they're cracked up to be. While they function properly, look great, and are easier to clean than knob controls, knob controls are easier and quicker to adjust and have infinite heat settings. The touchpad controls have preset increments, not infinite adjustability like knobs. The oven heats and cooks evenly. The stovetop elements heat up quickly and transfer heat to pots and pans efficiently. In fact, they are much "hotter" than our previous traditional cooktop elements (calrods), so be careful with heat settings until you get used to it. The pot and pan drawer is not as large as our old range and doesn't hold nearly as many items or very large items.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product has a defect This particular LG stove has a defect that allows food and residue to build up in sealed glass range window. It happened to me after the oven cleaning feature was used. Used the stove and oven a total of 10 times in 4 months, I just got rid of another manufacturers range that was over 20 years old and no residue ever appeared on the glass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from WE REGRET THE PURCHASE my wife and I purchased this range to replace an old one that came with the house we bought, that was this past august at home depot along with a over the range microwave and a refrigerator all LG products as we were advised by our salesman after remodeling our kitchen, about a month after while doing the first self cleaning our son told me of a funny smell coming from the oven, so I stopped the cleaning process only to find out that the paint at the bottom of the oven had faded away and it turned white, I called LG electronics customer service and a lady who I spoke to wasn't very helpful trying to tell me that because it was what she called "cosmetic" LG wouldn't do anything, I called HOMEDEPOT and was told that applainces were not returnable so we have to live with it, very dissapointing I don't think we can recomend this product. Also the LG customer representative told me that she would send me a link by email so I could send some pictures, never saw the link, she wasn't helpful at all since the beginning she acted very defensive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible customer service when there is a problem! Bought this oven and 4 other LG major appliances at the same time. About the 7th time I cooked on the stove top one of the burners began to bubble in the glass really bad. I took a picture to Home Depot and they would not do anything but call LG even tho they stated it looked like a defect. LG then sent a tech out that said he had not ever seen any stove do this and also did not believe it was cosmetic but something wrong in the glass top. Well about 5 days later the same tech called saying that LG is considering it cosmetic because if the burner still comes on and heats up then they will not do anything for me. When I stated you agreed it was not cosmetic his reply was "they wont listen to me and will only consider it to be cosmetic since it still comes on". I have had smooth top stoves for many years and never a single issue. I have since tried everything possible online with numerous buffing and cleaning attempts and lots of different cleaners and it does not budge. This is obviously a mfg defect! There is clearly something wrong in the glass top but neither Home Depot in Florence, SC or LG will do anything even tho it was so new. All of the other LG appliances are working out great thus far but their service at both Home Depot and LG will deter me from ever buying appliances from them again. Very frustrated to spend almost 5,000 in appliances and now have a horrible looking stove top!! I keep everything immaculate and can't fix this and received no assistance at all due to their poor customer service on both sides of LG and HD!!
