This is a really important question to answer. We all hate ovens that take 15 -20 minutes to heat to 350 degrees. Call LG and find out for your customers sake. It is a #1 question when purchasing an oven! Period!

Answer:
Yes, I know it doesn't say anything in the specifications. That's why I'm asking! The industry standard seems to be to measure preheat to 350 F. Can someone just turn it on and use a stop watch to see how long it takes? Thanks!

Regrettably, the specifications for the LG 30 in. Single Electric Wall Oven with Convection in Stainless Steel, Model # LWS3010ST do not indicate how long it takes to preheat. The time it takes to preheat will vary depending on what temperature you're preheating the oven to...^IFV

Bake vs Roast vs Crisp Convection difference?

What exactly is the difference between Bake, Roast, and Crisp Convection? What does the fan/heating elements do differently between the three convection modes?

We baked a store bought frozen pizza in crisp convection mode and it came out nice on the side away from the fan, but burnt on the side closest to the fan.

If you're cooking food that has a solid structure like any type of meat or vegetables, in the LG 30 in. Single Electric Wall Oven with Convection in Stainless Steel, Model # LWS3010ST, you should roast it. If, on the other hand, you're cooking food that doesn't have a solid structure but will after being cooked, like muffins, bread, cake or casseroles, then you should bake it. The crisp convection feature is best for light colored and delicate baked goods like cakes, tarts, cookies, puff pastries, scones, muffins, biscuits, free from yeast breads etc. The fan circulated hot air continually distributes heat more evenly than the natural movement of air in a standard thermal oven. This movement of hot air maintains cooking foods more evenly, crisping surfaces while sealing in moisture and yielding crustier breads. The low thermal capacity of the heating element itself makes it possible to shorten
the cooking time as much as 30%. In all three convection modes, convection uses a fan or fans to circulate air. Convection bake uses the convection element for heat and the fan to provide air circulation. Convection roast uses the fan, but in addition to the convection element, it will cycle on the bake and broil elements as needed to control the heat...^IFV

30 in. Single Electric Wall Oven with Convection in Stainless Steel is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 25.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from LG LWS3010ST /00 30" Built-in Wall Oven I've been using this oven about four months now and absolutely love it! It has a beautiful blue interior and heats up rapidly with a nice tune alerting me when it has reached the entered cook temperature. It has three convection cook types which I am still learning to use. It has convection bake, convection crisp, and convection roast. I would recommend this oven for your kitchen. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fit and features! Bought this to replace one lost in a fire and am very pleased with this! I had it installed with the kit in the wall and it has so much more room than a typical built in microwave. Great features too!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spectacular Ovens These are definitely a chefs oven! We cook every evening and these ovens are fantastic. They heat up quick, the convection crisp feature is very nice, broiler works well (multiple settings), favorite setting is an easy "1", "2", Startup and we couldn't be happier! the cobalt blue interior, lighting and orange heating element make this oven a conversation piece+cool factor. we purchased 2 additional/Gliding Racks which really help with heavier pans and just make it easier. we have a few other LG appliances in the home and were comfortable purchasing the double wall ovens, as a replacement to our GE monogram/builder ovens. the LG oven was a perfect fit, no retrofitting needed. easy installation/guy was here for about an hour. LG dishwasher, washer/dryer and now wall ovens. when all are going at the same time, its like an orchestra in our house! they all sing tunes.. definitely recommend, for the price and what you get. we've done our research and had our choices down to about 4 ovens. waited, and got this on sale and we were thrilled with the outcome.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice looks, but quality lacking Purchased this unit for a kitchen remodel. While it was easy to install, We've noticed a few quality issues that leave it lacking. For example, the control panel doesn't fit as snugly as we would like against the host cabinet. So, when you press the panel to start the oven, the housing squeaks. Minor issue, but annoying for a new product. Also, we're only 5 months into its use and now one of the burners does not want to shut off after use. We have to cut the power to the unit to reset the control panel. We have a warranty request in, but no word yet on when it will be fixed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from FAN NOISE Bought this unit and put it in the open wall space, turned it on and knew immediately that I had made a huge mistake in buying this oven. My wife and I looked at each other and our mouths wide open. The fan noise is almost like a practical joke its so loud. Not only can you not hear yourself think, you have to listen to this noise for over 55 minutes after you take something out of the oven. LG did not do their homework when it came to this product. This thing needs a whole remake. Do not waste your hard earned money!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Such a Disappointment I waited so long for this gorgeous oven to be installed, and I was so happy the day it was finally in my kitchen, warming up. I loved the beautiful blue interior, the fancy settings, and the adorable little tune it plays in lieu of a beep for alarms and such. Imagine my sadness when, less than a week later, the stupid thing stops heating. The fans run continuously, even though it hasn't been turned on. The oven cheerfully announces that it will heat to the temperature I punch in, and then NOTHING. I have never been so disappointed in a product. I seriously can't believe it doesn't work. I have a sleek, beautiful, $1800 shelf in my kitchen now. Thanks, LG! Life is Good! :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is beautiful inside & out I love my double oven. It heats up quickly & quietly, cooks evenly, is so pretty inside, came with a beautiful broiling pan to match it & then it cools down quickly & quietly. No complaints, just good stuff to say. Oh - and the sound of the timer is so pleasant :)
