Rated 5 out of 5Â by Shrewsbury77 Outstanding Washing Machine
We bought this machine along with matching dryer about 1 month ago. So far this product has matched or exceeded our expectations. Lot of features, easy to operate, very efficient. The only problem I would mention is vibrations only when the machine is in high spin cycle. Our laundry room is on the second floor of the house and I can feel the vibrations even when I am sitting on the first floor. I am planning to buy anti-vibration pads. Highly recommend this washer.

This is our first front loading washing machine. We were very surprised that there was not a lot of water in the machine when washing the clothes. We found out that the washer only uses 3 gallon's of water when washing. Big difference from the top loading machine. It is very easy to use and has settings for just about anything you would want to do.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by CharlieDigital Loving it, but Hope the Quality Lasts
We replaced a 4 year old, $1000 Samsung front loader that a repairman could not repair, even after replacing the temp sensor and control board. It would have cost $400-500 just to fix it so we decided that we might as well get a new unit (appliances these days are not built like they used to be...)
First off, my wife and I love the option of the short wash cycle on this washer as well as the tub LED that lets you watch the action. From what we have experienced so far, even with the short wash, it seems to do a respectable job of cleaning the clothes.
The interface is relatively easy to use, the machine is quiet but for the spurts of water that it shoots into the tub, and it feels solidly made (though time will tell).
One neat feature about this unit that the drain for the filter has a tube whereas with the Samsung, the water basically just leaked out onto the floor (what were they thinking??).
The spin is aggressive and gets the clothing out without excess moisture and yet does not cause a lot of noise or vibration when in operation.
The main downsides with this unit are that, like other HE machines, water will tend to gather in the front gasket and you must wipe this away with each wash to prevent mildew from building up around the gasket. The second issue I have observed is that very small items will have a tendency to get caught in a "dead zone" right under the front glass where it cannot be dislodged into the load -- never had this with the Samsung. Small items like a baby or toddler sized sock can easily get dropped there and not participate in the cycle.
Otherwise, we are loving the unit so far and it's making short work of our weekly laundry needs.

My king-size bedspread is like new after washing it in my new LG washer. This made my day!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Karola I like the steam feature and the extra rinse cycles
I am absolutely surprised how energy efficient this machine is. The laundry comes out whiter, which I believe is due to the extra rinse cycles you can select. I noticed that in order to keep the machine well running, a pump filter must be cleaned out on a regular basis. This might be extra maintenance for the consumer, however, I would think it prevents major repairs. This is my second front loading washing machine, and my first LG major appliance. Yes,
I would recommend this washer.
