This washer is right outside my toddler's room and is so quiet, it doesn't disturb him. We use liquid Woolite and have found that everything comes out clean and soft. There are a variety of washing options which cover just about every situation. Also, the spin cycle works so well that I've noticed we don't need as much drying time. Having the control panel in the front is very handy, and the child lock feature is fantastic because my one-year old can reach it. The glass top is pretty cool and I like that there isn't an agitator in the middle. Overall, I'm quite pleased.

It's been a LONG journey to getting our new LG washer and Dryer. We purchased our home with 20 yr old washer dryer made by KitchenAid ( do they even make washers/dryers anymore?!). We were in desperate need of an upgrade. I ended up going to HomeDepot and worked with a fantastic saleswoman. She suggested this model to me over the popular front loading style for quality, price and performance. She also highly recommend the LG products for their customer service. We've have the washer and dryer for 1 month now and I am LOVING how clean it gets our clothing. I love that i can finally wash my dedicates and work blouses without fear of getting holes etc. and i can wash bedding- everything gets washed. I barely use any detergent per load! I can't say enough about this set!

After reading soo many reviews on every top load out there, we finally found this. After 1 month couldn't be better. I have experienced absolutely no problems. Small load, Large Loads, Delicates, Comforter...Everything comes out clean and safe.
Best washer we have ever owned

We had the red LG Steamfresh HE front loader for 2 years and were very happy with it, so happy that the buyers of our house asked us to leave it! The only thing I didn't like about it was that I couldn't wash my pillows and comforters in it because it couldn't balance the weight, so when it was time to buy a new one for our new house I was thrilled to see a top load version.
This washer does everything a front load washer does, with the exception of not having a steam option (the matching dryer has steam). I was thrilled to see the detergent drawer in the back, so that I don't have to pour straight detergent in the tub, and the door has a great flip down stand on the front that allows you to prop the door open when the washer isn't in use (to avoid mildew forming in the seal), without having to leave it wide open.
Having the buttons on the front is great too, rather than having to reach over to the back. Selecting the cycles is super easy, and there are all the options you'd ever need. It is quiet, yet efficient, and I can wash literally anything in it.
Overall I'm thrilled with this washer, and I'm glad I paid the extra to get the larger capacity and chrome trim. LG also includes a longer and more comprehensive warranty than many of the other manufacturers which was important to me.

Washer is great for 95% of my needs. It does not do well with small loads like my kitchen towels that I like to wash separately because of the food stains. It gets unbalanced. Does great with clothes, bath towels, bedding... Really large loads come out clean and well spun out. It is hard for me t reach small items ( I'm 5'1") had to put a stool in the laundry room to deal. SO offered to get me one of those grabber-thingees, might have to take him up on it. On install, had to put it pretty far from wall as the hook-ups stuck out a lot more than on old washer, this was fixed by changing out the water hoses for ones that have a 90degree bend. Not so great that I had to buy new hoses 2 days after install, wish I had known ahead of time. Have had about 1 month now so not sure about durability yet. Overall happy with purchase

Got rid of our front loader Kenmore which was garbage. This washer is great. Have not had any issues at all. Washing is a little different but once you understand how it works its great. Have not had any issues that some of the people give it a bad review for. Load it correctly and you will be fine. Have washed larger and small loads now problems. Everything comes out clean and fresh. Love the large deep tub we do less loads a week now. You do need to get to know the settings and once you understand how they work picking them is easy. After 5 or 6 different kinds of loads I had it down. Every know and then I will try something different to get to learn it more.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Joeyboy LG washer Model # WT1201CW is part of our laundry team
The LG top loader washer Model # WT1201CW is easy to operate; the simple LED programming panel up front gives the results we expected - a very fine wash. The automatic load balancing is a nice feature. Product manual is easy to follow. Price was right for our budget. Delivery was on time; setup did not take too much time. Installer knew what he was doing. Paired washer with LG dryer Model # DLEY1201W. Extended 5 year Warranties on pair is reasonably priced.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Laurene This washing machine is without a doubt the best!!!
I have used several different washing machines and was convinced that front loaders were the best. Previous to the purchase of this LG top loader, I was using front loading washer and dryer and was very dissatisfied with their performance and reliability.
This LG top loading washer is incredible! The inside drum is HUGE and I am able to wash everything, from pillows to bed covers and much more! The items I wash feel cleaner than any other washer I have used. You will definitely not regret purchasing this machine!
