The oven runs too hot; a technician came out to adjust it and showed me how to make further adjustments myself. I found even after he adjusted it down 15 degrees it was too hot, so I adjusted down 30 degrees. Today I had to throw out yet another batch of cookies (holiday cooking) because the oven became significantly hotter even as I used it.
Calling customer service was a joke; the rep was obviously reading off a script and placed me on hold for 20 minutes - literally 20 minutes without checking in once. I called them again on my cell phone and was disconnected twice without anyone calling me back. I asked to speak to a supervisor which met with such resistance that I am not even sure there was one working.
I miss my old Maytag - half the price and twice the performance.

I purchased this range in sept of 2010, 3 weeks after warranty ran out oct 2011 2 knobs cracked and broke, I purchased 2 new ones that came with a new reinforcement ring and since then all the rest of the knobs have cracked and broken. last week the ingniter started coming on one of the burners and wouldn't shut off, I had to unplug it and now have no oven and can only cook using an external flame to light the burners, contacted LG 3 times with no satisfaction.

This is the second GE Profile I have purchased. I ruined the first when I started a fire in the oven - which was 100 percent my own fault. (Whipe it out before turning on the self-cleaning oven. Don't turn on self clean and leave your home. We were very lucky and only the stove was destroyed.)
Anyway, I absolutely love the upgrades. The Lodge cast iron griddle is fantastic. We cook a lot and I am a hobbyists bread-baker. The oven is very consistent and I get the most wonderful breads and pizza with the convection setting. The cook top is great and I recommend the 5th center burner. It's a bit tight with several pots/pans but it's only a 30" stove. Good design considering those constraints. I don't really use the bottom warming drawer/second oven but it's a nice option when you need it once in a while. The drawer has a pan that lifts out for easy clean up.
If you can get dual fuel. It's wonderful cooking with fire but baking with even heat. If you love to cook this is a fantastic range for those of us who can't get cook tops and built in ovens.

We purchased the LG large capacity range and we absoluely love it!! We enjoy making pancakes or grilling veggies on the middle griddle. It is a sturdy, solid, reliable range. It is the best assett to our new kitchen, but i have to admit my favorite part and what sold me is the blue interior!!

I am so happy I decided to splurge on this beauty. I was originally looking at much cheaper non-convection ranges until I saw this one at the store - it has a solid look and feel.
Everything seems to be working well with the stovetop, oven and broiler so far. Considering all the extra features I have now, it was well worth the money. It's very easy to use and program. I was originally going to avoid a convection oven out of "fear of the unknown", but the sales person showed me how easy it is to enter in the original bake time in a standard oven, and the convection oven program converts it automatically- no guesswork involved.
I bought the stove in all black- I'm just not a stainless steel girl. It looks beautiful, and it's easy to keep clean. There's just something about that cheerful blue enamel oven interior that makes me smile every time I open the oven door.
I was also very happy with the entire Home Depot experience- I saved a lot of money after comparison shopping, and the sales, delivery/installation experiences were top notch. I couldn't be happier, and I'm a fussy customer.
