Hi Mike,
the specifications on HomeDepot.com say that the Propane (LP) Conversion Kit is included :)
*Make sure your range is properly adjusted by a
qualified service technician or installer for the type of
gas (natural or LP) that is to be used. Your range
can be converted for use with either type of gas.

Answer:
Yes, a griddle comes with the range. It is non-stick, adequate. It isn't up to the level of a commercial stainless steel griddle and the center oval burner doesn't have great output, but adequate to make eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.

Are the grates too high from the flame?

This question is from 5.4 cu. ft. Gas Range with Self-Cleaning Convection Oven in Stainless Steel
Asked by

March 15, 2014
I saw complaints in Amazon that the grates in LRG3095ST model is higher from the burner and hence it takes longer to cook as the flames don't reach the bottom of the pots. When I was in the store I noticed that the grates are at least 1/4 inches higher from the burners compared other brands. I plan to purchase this model. Is this going to be a problem that we end up using a lot more gas for cooking?

Yes, I believe the burners sit high off the flame and there seems to be alot of heat lost around the pot even if it is matched up to the size of the burner.

Answer:
Hi ssk529,
If you are concerned with the grates you might consider a different model.
I checked out all of the reviews on the Home Depot.com and only one mentioned the grates.
I think the additional gas required due to the grate height would be negligible.

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 255 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Oven, Good Range The oven on this model works perfectly for roasting, baking and reheats. The controls are so easy to use. This model looks great with our other products we bought. The range top is not so perfect. On a scale of 1-10, we give this model an 8. The range grates look great, but I believe the grates are a tad tall for the burners. For example, the center burner for the griddle does not heat up the griddle enough to make pancakes properly. We tried and it just doesn't get hot enough. The other burners work just fine as expected. Other than the center burner we love this model Range/Oven. December 24, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent I love this fridge. It holds everything I need to keep in both the fridge, and the freezer. I love that I can keep four gallon jugs on the door. The lighting is great. It makes ice fast, and having the ice, and water on the door is very convenient. The best refrigerator I have ever purchased! December 20, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Oven Best on market!! I got a great deal on this awesome LG stove. Best Product on the market Love it. March 4, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes it a real joy to be in the kitchen I brought this gas range in July 2014. I can't get over how evenly everything bakes, my bread, rolls, scones, all come out perfect and oh my goodness, do a roast!!!!! I use conv. bake and conv. roast most of the time. The variable btu's on the surface burners are right on. I make homemade spaghetti sauce and now cannot do without the simmer burner. Love the cobalt blue interior. I highly recommend this gas range. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Solid product good looks Stove was changed over to propane fuel. Stove top and oven burner work well. Like the oven interior color and light, Extra features, like oven timer and warming setting for baking. Center grille is used for eggs or grille cheese. There are more features than are being used. This is our third LG product. All three have been excellent. January 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy to operate, great features This LG oven cooks food evenly and in less time. Holiday cooking was a winner. I was able to help my wife with the cooking/baking and the food turned out great. Self cleaning oven works great. We are fans of LG products. December 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stove Wonderful stove! Cooks great and fast, looks great in kitchen. Fantastic features. Is quite a high power unit, and I would recommend not putting a microwave above it. December 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Stove We read more reviews than I care to remember before deciding to buy this particular stove. Turns out to be everything we needed in a stove. I can't think of a single feature that we haven't used. We originally thought the griddle would just be a "gimmick" accessory but am very surprised how many time we have actually used it to make pancakes or french toast. There are some negative reviews out there that complain about melting the knobs and we considered this when making our decision. This has been a total "non-issue" and I can only attribute that happening to "operator error" and not a design defect. Will be replacing the refrigerator next year and will definitely be looking at this brand again. September 17, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by We are very satisfied with this product The product is very easy to use,my wife loves the ring tones at the the end of an event.Would like 2 super burners in front instead of one.The convection cooking works like a charm.Controls are very smooth and easy to operate. December 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very pleased We are very pleased with this purchase. The features are excellent and the gas ignites easily. We have not had the opportunity to check out the convection oven side of things yet but the stove top and griddle attachment works nice. It is also a very nice looking appliance. July 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Now we're cookin' with gas! Cooking can be a chore or it can be rewarding. The LG gas range and over make it very rewarding. First, if you're looking for control, this range gives you what you need to cook food that will make family and friends want to come to your place rather than go out to dinner. The five burners allows you to boil big pots, simmer delicate sauces, and stir fry that will put those hoity-toity Asian restaurants on their heels. The oven bakes conventionally and with convection with great results. Bake goods come out just the way you want them and in good time as well. I highly recommend this product. Consider it before you select a commercial-type product that costs a whole lot more -- and probably is NOT self-cleaning (if you take my meaning)! June 16, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't meet expectation. The reason I am giving this stove a less than stellar review is the "self-cleaning" feature. This is the first gas oven I have ever used. I have cleaned it 3 times, since purchasing and each time it left a lot of crud behind, that I had to use either oven cleaner or Bar Keepers Friend to scrub off; mainly on the door and glass. It seems to do an OK job of the interior but doesn't seem to get hot enough to tackle splatters on the door/window. The first time I used the cleaning cycle, it left two spots on the bottom pan, that I've never been able to remove. There are two permanent etched stains on the pan and the only way I can figure out how to remedy is to replace the entire bottom pan. I have owned several electric ovens, over the years and each one of them did a stellar job of cleaning. I never had to scrub afterwards, just a quick wipe of the ash left behind. I do see that LG has introduced a "quick clean" oven. I wish it was available when I made my purchase. Also the center "griddle area" on my stove, I've only used once and wish I would have looked for a model with a fifth burner instead. Unless you griddle a lot, don't bother. December 16, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good unit. Replaced another range that was about 20 years old. While it worked it had problems. This LG is very impressive. Easy to use; the touch controls are intuitive and the temperature seems accurate so far. Did not cook much over the summer but everything seems fine. Only possible issue is that the griddle seems to take too long to heat. But, I recommend this unit. September 9, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best range for the price! My first new range ever and couldn't have picked a better product. My husband and I both love to cook and I have to admit I haven't let him near it yet because I can't stop baking in the convection oven or stop using all the burners. Love everything about this product....the look, the convection oven, all the features of the controls, the solid, heavy door that closes easily and even the beautiful blue interior of the oven. Clean up is a breeze. I completely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for these same features in a much higher priced range. December 31, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Outstanding appliance! Thank you LG This is a wonderful appliance it has eye appeal and it draws you to cook and bake. I love it. January 1, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great oven for value! This oven overall has been a joy to use. Like the fact that it auto converts my recipes to be able to cook convection, yet I still have the capability to cook in the traditional way (using bake or roast cycle). Also enjoy the various "bells and whistles" such as the chime mechanism when oven is preheated. Only downside is--the control knobs are somewhat flimsy...could easily see where the knobs could break off under heavy use. Overall though, would definitely recommend. Great value for what you get! April 21, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it! If you never had a convection oven, you don't know what you're missing! This oven automatically resets the temperature to accomodate using the regular or convection oven. When shopping for a new stove, I was impressed by the solid look and feel of this one, especially the bottom drawer. The drawer on the other brands seemed flimsy by comparison. This stove looked and felt like it was made for serious cooking. And that fabulous blue interior clinched it for me. I've been using it for a month and I haven't been disappointed. You should have seen my fabulous cheese souffle! June 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So far so good! Great stove, love the color of the inside and super easy to use. December 18, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this stove I had never bought LG products and I love them. This gas range is great. I love that I can use both convection and conventional oven. Convection cooks faster. I love the way to program both the oven and the timer. I am very pleased with it and also the 5th burner. September 16, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Stove! Hard to clean This Stove held up but the top on stove is very hard to clean. I honestly would have picked another Stove had I known how hard it is to clean. It works great. Never needed any repairs and cooks wonderfully. It's a tight squeeze with being 30" 5 burners. We use only 3 at time most of the time. :-) December 16, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This range has great features This is my first experience with a gas range. I love it so much we eat in more than ever. Ease of use and even cooking. The features such as the super broil and the griddle make cooking a breeze. My vanity side loves the blue interior and broiler pan. What's not to like on all the LG appliances the happy melody that you hear. I also have the French Door Refrigerator, Dishwasher with the 3rd tray for silver wear, OTR Microwave, the Washer with the Turbo Wash feature and the matching Dryer both with pedestals. I would highly recommend all of these products. February 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by True Blue I Love to cook and hate electric so I purchaed this stove. I was not sold on it my first few days because of the grill. After having my gas co. come back out they did an adjustment and now it works correctly. I love the large oven and truely love the blue color it cooks perfectly and looks great. I only wish 2 thing that the control panel was a little smaller so I could fit larger pots on the stove together. And that the grates were a little closer to the flame it would speed up the cooking process. I love the easy clean top. And the look of the stove in my new kit. is perfect. I also love the price, compared to the other stoves I looked at it was a true bargin and believe me I took a long time checking other stoves out. January 16, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Some flaws - design and quality Overall, we are satisfied. Highpoint is the oven and controls. The black stove top is not too durable - very easy to scratch. The heavy duty stove top grates must be placed carefully, or scratching occurs. The gas burner assembly is loose and can shift easily causing unbalanced flame. The oversize burner control knobs are a bit too oversize, an attempt at professionalizing the stove, but boardering on gaudy. The big oval center burner does a very poor job oh heating the griddle. This center griddle feature is suspect in any case, and pretty much a waste of space. August 31, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love my gas range I have been wanting a gas range for years!!!! Well, I finally got my wish. My LG has worked even better than I expected. The oval middle element for use with the griddle is perfect for making pancakes and fahita's!! I will never be without an LG gas range!!! Everyone should have one. The oven is more than big enough for me to cook my holiday dinners. September 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Appliance This is one nice machine. Very well built, and very stylish. The burners have different outputs, from a large one that boils large kettles of water quickly, to a small simmer burner which is great for when you want very low heat. The center burner is nice to have for the griddle and oval shaped pans. The grates are well made, and the entire range top can be used to set pans. The burners are easy to fine tune. The convection feature is nice for even baking of multiple pans. Lots of nice features on the computer. Can't say enough how nice this appliance is. April 8, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by If you really love cooking this is the stove to ha Since my purchase I enjoy every meal that I create using my new LG gas Stove. I love gas over electricity. And the compliments continue to come in which every meal I serve. Easy to use, and clean. The convex feature will make you wonder why it took so long to have this feature. Over all I am extremely pleased. September 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by having fun using the appliance great! haven't use the oven just yet, but will do so for Thanksgiving. Otherwise the top of the stove works great October 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This Oven is Awesome This LG oven is awesome best oven I have ever owned. Great looking and features for the price is great. I love how quick water boils my old oven took twice as long as this LG first time using it the water almost boiled over I was use to the old oven. I had bake some cakes for birthdays and they cook so even not like my old oven were they would be lopsided. My old oven was only 6 yrs old and it had broken down three times. The reviews on this LG was the best reviews I saw and they all are 100% right. You can't go wrong with this oven. February 1, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this stove! Has great features and even plays music when it arrives to temperature. wonderful...first time using the Convection oven...worked like a charm! the delivery men were very friendly and helpful. He even called the gas guy to come and fix the connection for the stove...wonderful service...wonderful delivery...wonderful product. :-) December 19, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Get this Range I just love it -from the blue inerior to the quirky melody indicating the end of the cook time. It converts conventional baketime to convection for you. Convection produces a better baked good but roasting seems about the same. July 3, 2012
