Mine has been ordered and hasn't been delivered yet, but I'd like to know whether I convert recipes to a lower temp by 25 degrees or I follow directions on a recipe and the stove lowers the temp. Thank you. I'm ready for holiday baking as soon as it gets here.

Answer:
Yes, in convection mode the temp you set is automatically reduced 25 degrees. You can turn this feature off if you don't want to use it, or just select a higher temp.

Each has its own button and after you press the appropriate button, the display will flash 350 deg F. You can then set the oven temperature as desired and when you press START, the display will show CONV ROAST or CONV BAKE and the changing temperature starting at 100°F. As the oven preheats, the display will show the temperature increasing in 5 degree increments. Once the oven reaches the desired adjusted temperature, a tone will sound and the oven light will flash on and off. The display will show the auto converted oven temperature 350 deg F, CONV BAKE/ CONV ROAST and the fan icon.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Gorgeous! This is one beautiful stove! My criteria for a stove, after looking for 4 years,,,were, it had to be SS, had to have no back, had to have front knobs, had to be big pro look real SS knobs, had to have a price alot lower than what I had first seen. This stove meets all my critera and more! Plus It cooks really well too!! January 13, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 3 years old and it's being replaced I purchased a slightly higher grade of this stove in 2011, one in which the lower drawer is a bake oven, otherwise the features are identical. I love the looks and build quality, the feature set is perfect and the stove is a looker for sure. When it cooks, it cooks well. Reliability is another matter. The oven probe would not work when it was brand new and the main circuit board had to be replaced under warranty. Its main circuit board burned out again and I have been stove-less for almost ten weeks now. Fortunately I bought the extended warranty and am receiving a refund of my purchase price. I'd look elsewhere if I were you. Too bad, I really wanted this to be my last stove purchase. October 12, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT A SLIDE IN Slide-in ranges have a wider lip at the top of the stove, which then rests on your countertop and creates the illusion of being built-in.THIS HAD NO LIP TO REST ON THE COUNTERTOP. resulting in a huge gap between the countertop and range. Took it back due to it not being a slide in. December 17, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst purchase ever The oven fan on this range, on both convection and regular settings, is so loud, we can hear it two rooms away. It takes 43 minutes for the fan to stop running after the oven is turned off. The stove is so noisy that we called a repairman, who said he checked with LG and was told the fan was operating properly. LG may make great washing machines, but it fails at ranges. I would never again buy an LG stove. June 2, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Perfect Installed the stove two days before thanksgiving for our vacation home. We bought the unit sight unseen and had it delivered. Once installed it was used continuously for 4 days. It was very easy to use. All members of the family figured it out without opening the directions. It heats up very quickly, the convection feature is awesome and it looks very nice in the kitchen. Additionally it is very easy to clean, both inside and out. December 12, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great range This is a very attractive range, that functions very well. I have to learn to use the convection feature, yet, but I am completely satisfied with everything else, so I'm sure I will love it! September 14, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slow This range is slow. The cook tops are slow to heat up and the burner sizes just don't seem quite right. Also, the oven is slow to preheat. Not sure about consistency of cooking temp in oven as it is summer and we haven't been using it. I read a lot of complaints about the fan and loudness. That was not true with ours. The complaint about very quiet timer beeper - that is true. Way too quiet for another room. August 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by I sense problems.. I purchased this stove because it was a nice-looking stove matching my fridge, I wish I had listened to the reviews before purchasing my stove because today I cooked my first oven-meal and beside finding annoying the air blowing on your face everytime you open the oven and the amount of noise produced by the oven fan even when the door is closed, I still was positive about it. But then when I finished my baking and turned off the oven, the "cooling message" and "noise" stayed for 2 hours. It looks like the sensor is damage. Very sad. January 22, 2015
