with the National Electrical code ANSI/NFPA NO. 70 - latest edition.
All wiring should conform to Local and NEC. This range requires a single-phase, 3 wire, A.C 120/208V or 120/240V 60Hz electrical system. Use only a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL-listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination. DO NOT install the power cord without a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 13/8” diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of conduit or power cord. Installations where local codes do not allow grounding through the neutral wire require
a 4-conductor UL listed range cord or 4 wire conduit connection, so you will need to check with your local building inspector or your building codes to determine whether to use a 3-wire or a 4-wire connection. A 3-wire receptacle has the NEMA configuration of 10-50R and a 4-wire receptacle is 14-50R...^IFV

I noticed the other day that I burned some bread on the bottom shelf during convection cooking. Upon investigating, I noticed that the fan only comes on sporadically. For some reason, I thought the fan stayed on during the whole convection process. What is the normal function of the fan?

Under 'FAQ's" on page 41, your manual also has this to say about the fan "During convection cooking the fan stops
when I open the door. Is that normal? Yes, this is normal. When the door is opened, the convection fan will stop until the door is closed." Then again page 24 also adds that " It is normal for the convection fan to run while
preheating during a regular bake cycle. • The convection fan motor may run periodically during a regular bake cycle."...^IFV

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Door seal disintegrating DOOR SEAL DISINTEGRATING, E MAILED LG 3 TIMES WITH NO RESPONSE. YOU HAVE TO HOLD DOWN THE BUTTON TO SET TEMP FOR THE STOVE TOP. THIS TAKES LONGER THAN TURNING A DIAL. YOU HAVE TO REALLY WANT THIS TYPE OF APPLIANCE. I MISS MY OLD TURN DIAL, QUICK AND EASY TO GET TO DESIRED TEMP. LOTS OF GUESSING WITH THIS ONE. LG CUSTOMER SERVICE HORRIBLE. April 18, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by BIG OVEN Wife loves the huge convection oven. Made a 26lb turkey in it and it was browned nice enough for a Norman Rockwell painting. Convection is tricky to get used to but this oven gives you the option of baking w/the fan only running when it needs heat to maintain temperature. Glasstop seems to get dirty often. Constantly cleaning it. Glasstop heats quickly and freaking hot. Boiled & finished 10lbs potatoes in 45 minutes. (Amazing) Only drawback is that the heat elements in glasstop pulse to emit heat. They come on full blast and turn off instead of a steady heat to maintain the setting. Kinda hard to get things from a boil down to a simmer. "Warmer" spot on glasstop is a nice feature (can use for proofing too) Range is well made you can tell by the overall weight and the heavy door. And it does have decent storage capacity in the bottom drawer. I think it was a nice value for the money. April 19, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Poor purchase The range has lots of features but fails to work. We have had 2 complete circuit boards replaced and waiting for the technician to come back and replace yet another one! Oven temperature set at 350 degrees only gets to 300 degrees. Oven temperature set at 450 degrees goes over 500 degrees. Convection setting does not work. LG does not provide broiler pans with their product. We read the reviews and that is why we purchased this oven but we are very disappointed and hope LG warranty or Home Depot warranty will follow through and replace with new one. April 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really Liking this Range We just purchased this Range in September 2015 and so far I love it. Its easy to clean and the blue interior is a treat. Its all digital, no knobs to clean. Plays little gingles to let you know the oven is preheated and ready to cook. Great looking stove and I would recommend it. October 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LG stove I love everything about it. Could not have made a better choice. March 30, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AWFUL!!! Bought in Nov. 2015. Small burner in dual burner quit working in Jan. 2016. Called LG for warranty service. It is Feb. 29, 2016, first problem not fixed, now second small burner has quit working, and stove never fixed. I've been through 3 service techs (picked by LG), and still no burners. 3rd company started out ok, but now lost contact. I was warned LG warranty service was bad, and so far this has proved to be true. If the stove worked, I would like it. It has nice features and the convection oven is great. February 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful stove. Stove is absolutely gorgeous. Ordered as a set with fridge and microwave. On the upper end of cost, but very, very nice. Inside is, surprisingly, a bright blue color which was unexpected. Easy to clean and just looks really nice as a complete set. March 29, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice range Yep, it's nice looking and it does what it's supposed to do. March 29, 2016
