You can use regular baking, conv. baking or conv. roasting. I love the "proof" mode because I bake bread a lot.

You can use the oven on the standard bake or as convection. There are separate touch buttons for each. It does seem to use the convection fan when the oven preheats so it heats up faster.

I've read a lot of reviews that complain about a "clicking noise" when the oven is in use. Can someone explain this more?

Answer:
The clicking noises seem to be related to turning on and off the heat source to maintain constant temperature. They also occur with the electric range top burners -- you can see the heating element change.

Answer:
As the temp on the oven and cooktop reach temp, you do hear a slight clicking noise. I don't find this bothersome at all. In fact, it lets me know how it is working. It is barely discernible. You have to be listening for it to really notice it. I like the music it sings when reaching temp in oven.

Absolutely this range has a timer. It's very easy to set and turn off. Timer plays a little song when time requirement is met. Very cool feature. Its nice and loud and the digital numbers are well lit and are large enough to see easily. I use the timer for other things than cooking.

The power cord, which is sold separately, should be a 3-prong cord for 220 amp power. If you are replacing and electric stove, you can probably use the same cord that's attached to your current stove. It will save you about $20.00 or so.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LG 6.3 Oven Easy to operate. Proof button for Baking ( I used it for bread) Fast at boiling and makes cooking easy and fun. The chimes are great for letting me know when it is ready and Baking is done. ( Added feature makes husband wonder where the sound is coming from ). Looks great in my kitchen and is wonderful to use. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Am I the only one??? So excited for my new kitchen appliances. We recently remodeled a house and the appliances were my finishing touches. I turned on the oven to heat up a pizza for the people that were helping us move and extremely disappointed in the heat up time. Preheating for 40 minutes and still had not reached temperature of 425. Is it just me?? Has anyone else had this problem? Am I doing something wrong? I'm a chef of 25 years so I have run my share of stoves but they all vary. HELP ME PLEASE!!! August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent range This range is excellent. It preheats to 425 in less than 8 minutes. The burners cool down very quickly for a glass top electric. All in all, glad we bought it! August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT RANGE AND UNBELIEVABLE VALUE This range has everything a serious cook and baker could want. The oven is huge and holds temp exceptionally well. I love the convection conversion feature. No crazy computing to figure out timing anymore. The size of the oven is huge and I love that there are three oven racks included because with the convection feature, this oven can easily handle three cookie sheets at a time. The other nice little extra are the notification tones that indicate when the timer has fun out or when the oven has reached temp. No more annoying buzzer noises. July 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Buy I love my new stove so far. It heats up extremely fast. Took a while to figure out how to use it since I'm accustomed to knobs! July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best range purchase ever Excellent delivery and installation. Great performance and a short learning curve August 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great range This is a very nice range. Heats up very quickly. Had a Kenmore before this and it took 5 minutes to heat up before I could use the stove. This one is ready in 2. Haven't used the oven too much but it seemed to do the job the few times I did. August 2, 2016
