We have a 10,000 BTU window unit and a space that housed a wall unit and wondered if we can put it into the wall space. There is a casement there.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.7 out of 5 by 9 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not Efficient I bought this unit to cool down my living room but it is still hot in here! I have it set to 63 degrees but even sitting 5 feet away, I can't feel cold air. I am not sure if it is not powerful enough but it was the right BTU's for my room size. I will never buy LG again. But I am stuck with needing a through the wall AC due to building restrictions and this one was more in my price range compared to the Freidrich one that was meant to fit in the sleeve. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very disappointing This unit is way too loud, it rattles the house through 3 rooms when the condenser goes on. All of the outside plastic coverings make noise, too. Don't waste your money. September 29, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WARNING: not product order; has no outside housing This a/c comes with no metal outside casing which they refer to as a sleeve. You have to buy it separately, which they don't warn you about at check out. So I received an a/c with all the internal part and coils showing. So make sure you order this part LG Electronics Wall Case for LG Built-In Air Conditioners. July 30, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not a quality product The units feel cheap, the air fins are weak plastic and the fan is not connected to the temp, meaning the fan stays on the same speed regardless what the temp is set at. Oh, we bought 4, and one failed. July 15, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good product, but incomplete installation instructions. The product works well, efficiently cooling, and it's nice to have energy-saving mode. Manufacturer's installation instructions were too minimal, especially re: use of shim, foam strips and other non-mental parts. July 3, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value-Great Product Powerful unit for a reasonable price! Shipping was an fast and convenient. The customer service department was extremely professional. March 14, 2012
