Product Overview

KOMPRESSOR technology means no more messy vacuum bags or having to empty them constantly. Stubborn dirt no longer seems so stubborn with DualForce+ suction. This is way more than a vacuum. The KOMPRESSOR system uses a unique wiper blade within the bagless bin to keep it clean while compressing dust intake. That allows you to store up to3 times more dirt, dust and pet hair vs. non-compressor models, and means there is an easy-to-dispose-of cake of dust when you empty it.

  • 12 amps of power for excellent suction
  • Cleaning width is 14.5 inches and DualForce+ suction uses an enhanced motor and two additional air pathways to pick up dirt from both sides, in addition to the traditional center section; this allows you to capture dirt and dust over a wide surface area, and is ideal for picking up dust in hard-to-reach edges
  • The Click N Go Wand detaches from the baseproviding up to 15 feet of additional reach for easier cleaning of stairs, upholstery, and other out-of-the-way spots
  • The RF Control lets you adjust power and settings remotely controlled right from the Click ft.N Go wand without going back to the base
  • Extra-long cord (40 ft.) extends your reach to mean less plugging and unplugging; it is one of the longest cords in the industry
  • True HEPA filtration that captures dust mites, pollens and other common household allergens
  • Certified Asthma & Allergy Friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America
  • Flexible Crevice Tool allows you to reach tight spaces and hard to reach areas
  • The hardwood floor nozzle cleans lightly and is gentle on hardwod floors and tiles
  • LED Headlight allows you to see dust and dirt that you might miss

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My LG LUV400T Vacuum I am really enjoying my new LG LUV400T Vacuum! I would definitely recommend this vacuum to family and friends. I had been comparing this product to many others over the last few weeks, seeing as my current vacuum had been falling apart left and right. This vacuum has the best features for the value beating the competition hands down! I am absolutely loving it and have been nothing but impressed by this product thus far! Not to mention my husband is enammered by the LED lights and the seperating blades in the collection container! Just an absolutely COOL yet functional household item, like a toy for us "Big Kids"!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great vacuum! Before, I decided to purchase an LG Kompressor LUV400T vacuum, I did a lot of research. Most of the reviews I read have been very positive. I have also been pleased with other LG products I have in my house, and I decided I would get this vacuum as a result. Anyway, I just got my vacuum about a month ago. I know it is extremely early to write a review for a product that I have just received, but I will update this at a later time. I also want to describe the whole process of setting it up, while it is fresh in my head, for anyone considering buying a vacuum. The vacuum comes more or less completely assembled and ready to use right out of the box. The only attachments that have to get connected are the hose and cleaning wand/handle assembly. It took about five minutes for me to unwrap the parts and get everything all hooked up. The directions were really easy to follow, and they allow for you to get the vacuum up and running in no time. No tools were required for the setup process. My initial impression is that all of the parts have a quality build and feel to them. Hopefully, that will be a sign of a reliable vacuum. I feel the best way for me to write a review is to explain the circumstances in how I use the product. I have an older cape cod style house. Most of the rooms in my house are finished with a medium pile carpet including my stairs. My bathrooms and kitchen are ceramic tile. I also have two miniature Australian shepherds (which shed a ton and have long hair) and two short haired cats that also shed. I have to vacuum on a regular basis to keep my carpets cleaned. After I assembled my vacuum, I put it to the test. I adjusted the height of the vacuum based on the pile height of my carpet. It is a simple foot lever that cycles between the different 4 different settings on the vacuum (Low to Medium Low to Medium to High back to Low). The first thing I noticed when I started the vacuum is how quiet it is. More importantly, the vacuum did a great job at picking up hair and dirt from my carpets. I was truly impressed! I used the hose and air brush attachment to clean my carpeted stairs. The air tool worked great for that! I was able to leave my vacuum at the bottom of my steps and use the hose to reach all the way to the top. The handle becomes part of the wand tool, and it has all of the control buttons needed to run the vacuum remotely (power, suction power level, brush roll power). While I am on the subject of reach, the power cord is ridiculously long. I was able to do my entire house without unplugging the vacuum. Granted, I had to fully extend the air hose and use the pet tool to do an upstairs room. The dirt compression feature is really nice. I had a hard time judging how much stuff my vacuum picked up until I emptied it. The vacuum is really easy to empty. The vacuum has a rinse-able HEPA filter, and it comes with a spare rinse-able pre-filter. The major con I have so far is that the vacuum is heavy. My fiance' might have a hard time using it. A smaller con is that the vacuum needs two "AAA" batteries to control all of its functions. However, the vacuum can still be powered on if the batteries are not installed/dead.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This vacuum has been great, but.. This vacuum has lasted us about two years now. It worked wonderfully until it began to make this horrible sound from the beater brush area. I took the face off of the brush to reveal that one side of the beater bar had jammed up and melted the caster that it was on, this in turn has ripped up and melted the mount point, so not only do i need to find a new beater bar, i also need to find a new plastic mounting piece; which I believe is the entire bottom part of the vacuum. Overall a great vacuum, lets see how hard replacement parts are to find and to buy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissappointed We've really struggled with this vacuum. I did a lot of research before buying it and felt like it was the best choice. I've been very disappointed with this vacuum. We've had to send it back to the factory 3 times in 3 years to have issues with the suction and the beater bar. I have been so disappointed with this product that I will probably never consider purchasing another LG product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great vacuum This thing has tons of sucking power and just everything about it is awesome. There are two things I will say though. 1: When you want to just use it to clean up a quick mess, you have to remove the whole extension chord to remove the wand so that the handheld starts sucking. That or just force the wand out but then its hard to get back in since the chord is in the way. 2: It is a tad heavy but that's not a deal breaker. Other than those two things, my wife and I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Vacuum Out There...and it's pretty too I bought this vacuum over a year and a half ago and it's still going strong. I'm still amazed every time I vacuum at how much dirt and debris this thing pulls out of my carpets. In fact, this has been the best vacuum I've owned to date. Probably the second best thing about this vacuum is the 40ft cord (which is also a hindrance- see paragraph 2#. I can plug it into a centrally located outlet and pretty much vacuum my entire house without having to switch outlets. Also, the RF controls on the wand are very handy when you're nowhere near the base and need to adjust the suction or power off the unit. The button to switch between bare floors and carpet is also conveniently located on the wand, where it should be. Lastly, the flexible extension piece for the crevice tool has come in handy a time or two, especially when vacuuming out my dryer's lint compartment. This flexible extension accessory allows you to vacuum in places that you never thought you could...or needed to for that matter. I even use it occasionally to vacuum underneath my refrigerator and stove. There are a few annoyances, however, but they are very minimal. First, the vacuum is a bit on the heavy side. I don't mind the fact that it's heavy when hauling it around, that is to be expected, but it could use a little help when pushing it back and forth on carpet i.e. some sort of self propelled feature would be appreciated. My grandma has one of those Kirby vacuums with the Tech Drive feature and even though it weighs more than the LG it is much easier to maneuver on carpet. The other minor issue has to do with the power cord blocking part of the click n go wand. If you need to use the wand for any reason you pretty much have to unravel the entire power cord before the wand will come out. There have been times when I only needed to use the accessories but had to unravel the entire power cord just to get the click n go wand out/back in to its holder. Typically the small jobs only require a few feet of power cord so I would prefer it if I didn't have to unravel all 40ft every single time. But again, these are small nuisances and I have learned to live with them. Overall, this machine does the job and it does it better than any other vacuum I've owned. I should probably mention that this vacuum was rated top in its category #bagless upright# by a "popular consumer magazine" which was the deciding factor in my purchase. To be honest I didn't even know LG made vacuums until I started researching them online. I'm glad I took a chance on this one as it has exceeded my expectations and held up over the last year and a half #knock on wood that it doesn't start having problems now that I've given it so much praise#. Did I mention it that it comes with a 5yr warranty?
