Answer:
I hope you don't literally mean "in a camper," meaning inside?? Remember you have exhaust fumes with carbon monoxide, so you'll die running it IN a camper.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great bargain So far this product has been great. Not as quiet as I was hoping for but not too bad considering the price. Will know more when we go on a longer camping trip

Rated 5 out of 5 by from rv user I put 10-30w synthetic oil in and 1 gallon of 87 octane gas and it started on second try. It's a new motor. I let it run for 2 hrs and it stopped a couple of times. I checked the spark plug and it needed to be properly gapped. The gap was to narrow, as if dropped. This time it ran continuously, although a little ruff on idle. I load tested and it worked flawlessly for a straight hour. I then replaced plug with a denso IW22 iridium spark plug, and this time, I used 89 octane gas. Now, I have the perfect generator! It's guiet, idles smoothly, quicker start, and more fuel efficient. You just have to learn to tune these small engines.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind! After way too much research I finally decided on this unit. First comment: Delivery. Estes Freight hit their promised time within 5 minutes. The shipment was perfect, the box wasn't even scuffed. The driver even helped my wife move it into the yard. Thanks Estes. Unpacked the unit, again, perfect condition. I looked the unit over and I am very satisfied with the initial quality. It unit is fully assembled as shipped, even the wheels are installed. The battery was factory connected and fully charged. The only thing required was the purchase of the recommended oil, fill the unit, twist the key, and it started within seconds. We put a load on it, and again, no issues. During my research of Lifan oproducts I had seen comments as to low quality manuals. I am going to assume that Lifan read those reviews, as this manual is printed on high gloss, heavy bond stock, with clear well-written instructions. I did spot one typo due to translations but if that the worse thing I can find... As to the noise: This is a 15 HP unit yet is noticably quieter than our 6.5 HP lawn mower. No one in the house heard it running. My wife and I had a conversation standing next to it. Home Depot specs state this is a 68DB rating: however, the product specs states 58DB. I believe the lower number. The only thing left to do besides regular starts is to wait on a power outage and fire up both submersible pumps, the fridge, and a few other essentials. Yes! That is peace of mind!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from energy storm 5600ier review The generator idles extremely rough in eco mode. It stalled 5 times in 24 hours. I repeat this happens without there being a load on the generator . It runs fine when there is a load on it. I cannot get home depot or Lifan to help with the problem so I will be returning it for a refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A good value It took a little time for the first start. After that it has started up right away every time. Runs great. Not as quiet as hoped but still quieter than a standard generator. Lightweight and easy to move around.
