In other words, if I leave my home for an extended period of days or weeks, can I view the min/max recorded over that entire period?

Answer:
No, the minimum and maximum are settings for alarm points. It does not record these but alarms when reached or exceeds these points.

Answer:
The temperature station provides the daily minimum and maximum temperatures each day starting at midnight (12:00 AM). The temperature station automatically resets the min/max temperatures at midnight (12:00 AM).

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Does the Job! Easy to setup & great value. Home Depot internet sales are hassle free. December 8, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Indoor/outdoor Thermostat I purchased this Thermostat to provide indoor and outdoor temperatures for our home. The device has an RF frequency transmitter in the outside sensor to send the information to the indoor display. The indoor display has a sensor to provide the indoor temperature. Installation is just a matter of installing AA batteries in the display and the outdoor sensor and hanging or setting each in a convenient place. I have found the thermometer reasonably accurate when compared to other known temperature devices. It does track the temperature slowly in both the rise and fall of the measured temperatures. It can lag on the rise of the temperature as well as the fall. Overall it provides reasonably accurate temperatures without any difficult installation problems. I give this unit 4 stars because it performs well but is not perfect. October 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wireless temperture unit great little product, and very accurate. i put is side by side with a lab standard ( just for fun), and it was less than 3% off on the high end , and less than 1.5% on the low end. the mid areas less then 1%. Meaning at 70 degrees lab setting , the unit was 70.5..Not bad for a cool little unit.. July 31, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by easy to set and use This is a great product. It is easy to set, and simple to use. Has two buttons on the back that can be pushed to get the high and the low temps, Also i like the alarm features too. I set mine to alarm when the temp gets down to 11deg, and it works.
