Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lost in translation I purchased this item for a major master-bathroom renovation. It looks nice, and I liked the idea of the hand-held shower and side-spray options. I installed it myself, and ended up with some lessons-learned to pass on. First, installation directions are in tiny print and rather cryptic. English is side-by-side with Italian, so hopefully the Italian version is better. The instructions tell you to assembled some of the sub-parts (e.g., install the O-ring part A, then tighten the knob of the diverter), but it turns out those parts are already assembled. In one case, I actually had to take apart one item so I could fit the finish plate over it (i.e., it wouldn't fit over the diverter knob, which was already attached/assembled). They really never tell you at what height to position the side-sprays. A call to their "customer support" for some guidance pretty much said it's whatever you want to make it. Duh - okay. They never tell you how much the 1/2" copper adapter should stick out from the finished wall. Since I'm rebuilding and re-tiling my shower stall, it took a bit of creative measurement to figure it out. Also, it turns out the connection for the hand-held spray is different from the side-sprays, meaning a different distance from the finished wall. The most irritating thing is that you have to access their website for an actual plumbing schematic. The schematic shows a straight 1/2" copper supply from the top of the shower control to the bottom of the diverter (for shower/hand-held/side spray options). As it turns out, the minimum/maximum depths for those two units is very different - the diverter must be closer to the finished wall surface than the control. But, if you run a straight supply line up from the control, the diverter ends up being too deep into the wall. I'd suggest a 45 degree street elbow below and above the diverter - not the straight supply line shown in the La Toscana schematic. Other than that, it's in, it works well, and it looks fine.
