PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Every porch deserves a rocking chair. Whether retired or not, enjoy the retirement life with the purchase of our northern white cedar log rocking chair. Settle in and enjoy the comfort of our rocket. It can be finished with a quality penetrating oil finish or left alone to weather to a silvery gray color. Many or most of the logs will have cracks. These cracks are called checks. Checking occurs when the logs dry and the cells shrink causing the wood to split. This does not weaken the wood. Checking helps give cedar furniture its rustic beauty. Because the wood is naturally rot and insect resistant, you will be able to enjoy this product for many years. Looks nice alone or grouped with our other great products.

Answer:
Our rocking chair seat is around 16-17" inches from the ground. Our ottoman that we make has the foot rest at 12" from the ground.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 55 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love, Love, Love These Rockers! I bought two of these rockers and absolutely love them! They were relatively easy to put together - I needed a little help tapping the pegs into the wholes. I stained them and then put two coats of clear polyurethane. Also added a cushion to sit on! I love sitting on the front porch watching the grass grow! September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great porch chairs! Love these rockers that are different than everyone elses.... very happy with purchase! February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well built, Solid This rocker is a great value. It's not a smooth sweeping action and requires more foot pushing. If the weight were shifted were shifted to the rear a little more, it would make it easier to rock. It is surprisingly comfortable. We bought some small cushions. Don't buy big ones. My wife is small framed ... and it fits her well. I would say if you were larger than 5'10' , it may not work for you. The directions need some help. It took me an hour looking at three stupid pieces of wood before I finally got it. I'm not dumb, but this made feel me feel ... slow. I stained it with some cedar stain/preserver and boy, it looks just great. September 9, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Log chairs for less The directions could have been a little better, however, if you have someone who understands how to put things together, then it is worth the money. The only bad thing that happened was we obviously received an opened box that had been returned. The tape that had been used to close the box was torn and though no parts had fallen out--(I don't see how) it was very unnerving that it would have been sent to another customer in such a manner. Chairs look great and cost a lot less for the look. However, found them later on Amazon for about $20 less--that was a bummer! August 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptional quality for decades of rocking This company has done a great job to make putting the rocker together an easy process. I'm a 70 year old woman and with an additional Youtube video that the manufacturer made showing each step, it was a snap to fit together. ----- This rocker is heavy (will not blow away in 60 mi/hr winds that are common here). It's made to last in challenging climates (high altitude, semi-arid, freezing nights in my case). We just had a couple of days of rain and it's obvious that the cedar will have no problem with heavy rain and snow in wetter climates. ----- The fit to my body is perfectly comfortable without cushions (that take to the wind like kites). My only regret is that I did not purchase this years ago. ----- I've already bought a small table and I'm saving for the loveseat. July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love that it's made in the USA!!!! I love the product. It was a little challenging putting them together by myself, but I did it! Instructions might have mentioned that you should pre-drill all of the holes, before I got the giant blister in the palm of my hand by trying to screw the screws into the wood without pre-drilling them. They look great, though. Also, I noticed in the picture they're using in the ad, that there are no big cracks like the ones in the actual product they send you. It's a little disconcerting, but as long as it doesn't compromise the structural integrity, I guess it just adds to the "rustic" quality. I'm not going to stain or paint mine, I'm going to go au natural. Hope they last! I got two rocking chairs and the table. They are really cute on my patio. August 25, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased Rocking chair was fairly easy to assemble. Only complaint is that we ordered two and they are not identical in the cut of the slats at the front of the seat. One has slats that are squared off and the other has more rounded slats. We decided not to return one to try to get two identical ones; that it wasn't a major problem and didn't compromise the look of the pair with the table between them. Seem to be sturdy and comfortable. Love the look of the set on the front porch! March 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bestt value in town! The chairs look great and are so comfortable. We've been looking to buy two rocking chairs for over a year and either the price was way too high or the chairs were not comfortable...After reading other reviews we decided to try and these are awesome so glad we did. While there is assembly required the instructions were clear and all parts were provided just need your tools... June 18, 2014
