Customer Questions & Answers

How many linear feet per box?

I see that there is "4-pack", and want to know how long is each panel? 4 X how many feet?
Asked by: Mobetta
Each panel is 2ft. or 8 linear ft. per box. However there is about 3" overlap where the panels interlock on each end.

Would also like to know what color family this is in, browns or greys??

Like someone else said, in the picture they look brown and in the video they look grey. It makes a difference to me on whether I order them or not. Would greatly appreciate an answer from anyone who has them. Thanks a million!
Asked by: kcWhitestone
I just wanted to let people know that I purchased these last summer. My were grey. They are great and look great. Easy to install once your area is prepared. Only defect - The stakes rust. I will paint them when the Spring finally arrives! I highly recommend.

Can they be stacked to increase depth?

If planning on planting root vegetables, can they be stacked to where there would be more depth. Would they be able to be pinned through both to keep sturdy?
Asked by: JFLA
You would have to buy longer stakes, maybe use a pipe cut to the length you need then fill in the top to finish it off.

Asked by: EG
each section of ledgestone is approx. 2' in length (actual length is more truly 23", so you can do 8x8 or 10x10, but not 9x9. They come 4 to a box. so you would need for boxes to do 8x8

The stones are solid and sturdy, and installation is very common-sense and easy. As the Q & A says, you'll get about 7.5 to 8 feet per package. Lay them out, put in pins, and you're all set. We had done a thorough search for similar products before buying, and these are by far a great value. When our 3 packages arrived, 2 were missing the pins. We emailed Mr. Doman, company owner, using the contact info enclosed in the box with instructions. He immediately responded (on a Saturday morning!), and sent us new pins right away. As most homeowners know very well, it is rare that any project is completed free of complications. So to have such quick and enthusiastic customer service is highly appreciated! We would certainly use this company again whenever possible.

I was initially concerned by reviews that noted damage in shipping but was pleased to discover the product was well packed with individual sections sandwiched in Styrofoam cradles. One box was slightly damaged and two sections had minor surface damage. Most impressive was the packing slip enclosed in each box that provided an email and instructions for dealing with any damage from shipping--an effective and pragmatic solution. The product installed easily in a new garden in a wooded section of our lot, accommodating bends and tree roots effectively.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from STRUCTURAL PROBLEMS, BUT LOVE MY RAISED TIERED GARDEN I purchased 3 boxes of this edging to build a two tiered raised garden featuring a fountain made out of a large and a medium size planters . I've provided a photo of the finished project with which I am very pleased. My garden was not built without problems. I was apprehensive purchasing these bricks as some of the reviews here mentioned receiving the edging with pieces broken off. When I opened the boxes I found what I feared-4 of the bricks ends, where they interlock with each other, had totally broken off. That's when I saw what one reviewer noted-that this edging is not solid brick as the description on Home Depot's website insinuates. The core is Styrofoam. But I decided that instead of lugging the heavy bricks back to HD for a return I'd attempt to repair them with construction adhesive (which I purchased from HD). It worked out fine & I was relieved that the holes where you put the stakes through lined up. It would have been a disaster if they didn't. The garden was easy to construct after the repairs. I used a mixture of compost (3 bags), garden soil (4 bags) & peat moss (about 1/3 of mixture) to fill it and my plants have done very well. I feed them every two weeks. I bought a small solar fountain pump from amazon.com which functions to my satisfaction. I am really enjoying my new garden.

We ordered 2 sets about 2 weeks ago--they came in great time and great shape. Went together well after we did some building up of our slope to level it. Looks really nice--we did 2 separate square plant beds, but could have done larger rectangle. We put them in a large mulch bed, so they are visual accent pieces.
