I unboxed this on November 4th 2014. It was awesome on that day. It pulled 1450W from the wall, and I could feel it. It was the best heater I ever purchased. I loved this heater! I wanted to shout it from the rooftops, but I decided that it would be better to wait at least a year before I wrote any kind of a review. Well, I'm glad I did.
You see, over time, this heater started pulling less and less and less power from the wall, and I could feel it. I keep this thing clean, so it's not a problem of the heater getting dirty. I'm very meticulous about keeping things clean. My parents have had the Lasko 5369 tower 1500W heater for several years now and they never clean it, yet it's still pulling over 1350W from the wall. So, this isn't an issue of my heater needing to be cleaned.
In March 2015, my heater was pulling 1275W from the wall, so I e-mailed Lasko to ask if this is normal. They had a lame response: it needs a deep cleaning. Sigh. No it doesn't.
Fast forward to today: it's pulling 1025-1075W from the wall, and again, I CAN FEEL IT. Lasko wants me to send my heater to them AT MY COST "for testing". This thing has already cost me $50 (not to mention the cost of electricity). So, I definitely don't want this thing costing me any more money. I shouldn't have to be dealing with this. They should just send me a new one with a prepaid shipping label in the box so that I can give them this one and be done with it. Of course, the new one will probably have the same problem. heh
Their last reply to me was something to the effect of, they need to talk to me over the phone to determine why it's losing power. What a joke. Do they expect me to take this apart for them and inspect it? That's their job, not mine!
So yeah, buyer beware. I absolutely regret wasting my money on this thing.
I'm still using this heater because I don't really have much of a choice right now. At least it still produces some heat that is actually usable. At this rate though, it'll be worthless a year from now.

This heater is ok if you are using it in a very small space and the cold is not too cold. Mistakenly I was hoping to use it in a covered patio setting but it is not strong enough for that purpose. For the price it wasn't too bad an experiment but I was expecting a little stronger heater.

Easy to read instructions. Instant heat for a small area. Thermostat works efficiently for my immediate work area, I have not tried to heat an entire room, only my desk area.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Martist This product barely gives off any heat! I have a small inexpensive bathroom heater that does a much better job!
I chose tis heater as it is for utility purposes. I am extremely disappointed and will return it. It seems to only put out heat about five feet from the unit. I have run it on the highest setting and used it on three separate occassions. It is not what I need.

Sturdy product for purpose and price. Use in cold garage when working on projects. Wish it heated up more of room, but is adequate when I stay close to it.
