The fan was easy to assemble and was easy to mount to the wall. It works great. It has pull strings so it can be mounted higher and can still easily be operated.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Bought 2...one is flawless, the other is garbage.
I bought 2 of these and waited several days to arrive as they were shipped via third party item not sold by HD but an affiliate so don't be in a hurry.
As for the wall mounted fans and my review, 1 works flawlessly and is very quiet with very little noise or vibration......the other is a NOISY, VIBRATING PIECE OF JUNK that makes the house vibrate even on low so much our guests always ask what is that helicopter sound? very annoying. The unit puts together in less than 2 mins and mounting to the wall takes another 1-2 mins.......then you turn them on.....dial switch only goes oneway..High to med to low.....you cannot turn the dial in reverse so you have to rotate a full 360 to use the control. The fan blade assembly in this unit is not balanced so the blade unit wobbles slightly and the unit will not occilate properly via the enclosed instructions....yes it occilates you just cannot adjust the setting like it indicates. I guess 1 working unit out of 2 is the new online expectation these days, and with the turn around on shipping and trying to get it replaced I decided it was easier to just live with the bad unit.
I went with the 12" to save on space....more than enough power and airflow, just not up to par technically.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by William Works well - Customer may have to add blade washer
The fan works well. It came partially disassembled. The plastic blade and plastic blade guard had to be installed. When I first assembled the blade, it vibrated causing the fan to be noisy. Upon checking, I found that although the blade nut was screwed on tight, the fan blade was still loose on the motor shaft. I took the blade back off and found a flat rubber washer to put between the blade and the nut that holds it on. It now works perfectly. I contacted Lasco customer service by email about the issue but received only the computer-generated response.
The fan moves a lot of air, but the range between the high and low speeds is not as much as I had expected. The low speed still has more wind noise than I would like. However, I still consider it a good fan for the money.

I installed this fan on the ground level of a HHI beach house to move the air in an non AC recreation room near the pool. I especially like the travel radius that you can adjust so the fan travels either center or more left or right. It also moves the air at a fairly good distance from the fan 15-20 feet.
I intend to install one on my covered patio pillars to keep more air moving along with the ceiling fan. It has a small bracket that permits you to remove it quickly and store it away from the weather. I don't know how long it will last, time will tell. So far so good....

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JB1408 We bought six fans for our office and cut our air conditioning bill.
We placed them high on the walls and ran the electrical behind the wall, so there are no cords and no outlets, just the white fan on the white wall with a pull string to change the speed -- looks very clean. Fan blades are strong with good air current, noise level is low.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by john great fan for tight spaces
I bought this fan for my daughter room to help with ventilation. Because of her having a bunk bed it would be too tight to put a ceiling fan in. This fan was wall mounted in the corner and sweeps the whole room moving enough air to keep it cool and not have to run the ac all night.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HDFC Good solution for small areas
The fan works fine. Have no problem with the three speeds as others have mentioned. Note that if you run the motor before you attach the blades, the motor will appear to run the same at all three speed settings; the blades have to be attached to see/hear the difference. It transmits a little noise vibration through the wall when oscillating, but nothing too excessive. Overall, it is a good solution for an area where you do not want to set a table fan.
