I live in Arizona high desert and our winters can be very cold. This heater warms my 450 sq. living room and kitchen. Heat is quickly released across the floor and rises. The heat also moves up the stairs taking the chill out of the upstairs bedroom which is about 300 square feet. It`s pretty quiet. There is some noise but it doesn`t drown out the T.V. It`s well made. I will buy another and I will recommend this heater to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My second Lasko heater This is the second Lasko space heater that I have purchased. The first one lasted over ten years, and I don't think that we even considered another brand. It is quiet and puts out the right amount of heat for our bathroom. A great buy for a great price from Home Depot.

(1) it tripped the circuit breaker (2) there was no way of turning it off without unplugging it (3) the small vent on the bottom is the only heating area so it doesn't even heat a small area unless you're actually standing in front of it.

Has worked reliably to supply heat to individual rooms when central heating is down in one of our rental units. We have several of these units aged 6 mo to 2 years and all are still operating as expected.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RS3000 Forced Fan Heater Great little fan for space heating. lot of output for such a small unit. Would recommend this to anyone with a room that needs additional heat. We used it in a 12'x 15'x 10' room and it worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent unit and function We needed this for 2 reasons, first we have a guest room that is on the far end of the house and never seems to get enough heat in winter and air in summer. This little unit was strong enough to keep the room warm. It also pushes the air from floor level allowing the room to heat evenly. The second was we had some water leaking into the home during heavy rains and used it to help dry carpets. Also due to the heat coming out at floor level helped dry the carpet quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Heater With One *Serious* Drawback This is a surprisingly powerful (with great airflow) unit that heats well. An added bonus is that it had less "new heater smell" than most others I've tried, and the smell actually went away quickly. Yet another Plus is that by pulling in air from the top, it sucks in less dirt and dust (and pet hair) from the floor. However, there is one potentially serious problem with this heater: the automatic-only power selection prevents you from selecting Low power for wiring that already has other loads on it. So when you tun it on you get 1500 watts until the heater decides to switch to Low heat (which you can't really detect), and there is no way to prevent it, short of opening it up and disconnecting the High heat circuit. This will blow fuses and trip breakers on loaded circuits, and could possibly cause a fire if the wiring is old and brittle or defective. So if you live in an older home, or even a newer one with crowded circuits, I suggest you avoid this model. It's a shame , because with a High/Low switch this would be a really great, versatile heater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warms space up and doesn't "burn up" oxygen This heater is a great deal. I was looking for a convector heater, but usually they are more expensive and larger. My first heater was bought in 2011, and it still works fine. So I got another one for my living room, instead of a gas heater. It warms my room up just enough, never too hot or cold. The heater is very quiet. Although the heater does not dry the air (does not "burn up" oxygen) as my old heater had.
