Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 175 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So far a very good room heater This heater is used in lieu of a single register gas heater that heats the entire 2 story home which is very old an inefficient. Home is located in San Francisco Bay Area, moderate temperatures ranging from mid 40's in winter. Average winter temperature outside 55 degrees so not real cold. This heater is used to heat up a living room 18 x 12 with high ceilings. The intent is to get the chill off the room to a comfortable temperature .Placed it under a 10 ft w x 4 ft tall bay window. Takes about 1 hour to make the room comfortable. This heater is NOT used to heat the entire home. The heater emits a slight buzz but overall pretty quiet. Not really sure how efficient it is re: Kwh, but not concerned due to home has solar panels and produces excess Kwh. Waiting to see if this heater lasts without issues for warranty period. Will update when beyond warranty period. May 3, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worked for 2 weeks. Out of the box it was a great heater. It heated up a 10 x 10 room with 7 foot ceiling pretty nicely. After 2 weeks it stopped working at all. The display would light so I know it had power and reset it the only way possible, unplug it for 5 minutes. If it had kept working I would have rated it highly and recommended it but that is not to be. You should avoid this heater because when you find out that it quit it is when you really need it, that's what you bought it for wasn't it. February 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by does the job Low profile, works great. Plug in and use. xxxxxxx March 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Warm happy camper My only regret was that I didn't purchase this heater years ago. When reading the product overview what caught my eye was "... circulates warm air silently and evenly from the ground up." which is exactly what it does and is perfect for a ground level unit. It warms quickly and shuts off automatically OR you can turn it off manually. Extremely pleased with this heater. February 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very very practical! These heaters are a great supplement to forced air when it gets really cold, and you are tired of the the heater constantly blowing dry hot air. I place them under big windows. Also turn the whole house heat down at night and just heat the bedrooms. Also, on this one, the top is flat, so I place bricks on it (probably not manufacturer recommended, but I have done it for years). The bricks or rocks absorb the heat and increase heat efficiency. Just a note, however- the wattage is high, and some circuits won't handle two at a time. January 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Very quiet!! You forget that it's even on. I like that the temperature control maintains a set temperature even when it's very cold outside. We bought 2 of them and used them thru Pennsylvania blizzard the beginning of this year with not 1 problem. February 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Doesn't last.. Not worth money Only lasted 2 months.. Thermostat or setting goes out on them ... Have 1 to return in box now February 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by too complicated to use, cuts off have to unplug to reset. Too complicated, prefer no timer, just on/off and heat level February 10, 2016
