Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It is doing the job I expected it too. I find that the lasco humidifier was easy to set up and use. easy fill port is a very conveyent feature. Set up is simple, though one needs to be sure that the top is seated properly to avoid leakage and pay attention to the instructions advice on max water level in resivor. It is no loader then a quite fan, the trickle of water reminds me of a desk top meditative water feature. November 13, 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by works but annoys It works well, puts out a good amount of humidity - but the constant loud trickle from the recirculating feature is very annoying. Sounds like a faucet dripping into a sink with water or an aquarium or similar. Had I realized how much this sound could be heard, I would not have purchased it. We have to move it as far away from our bedroom door as possible but still hear it in the night. February 19, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Does the job I picked up this in expensive unit for my apt (1100 SF) just to get an idea if a humidifier would help at all with my dry cough. While it is a little undersized for my apt, should probably be used in 800 SF or less, it did still manage to do the trick. It boosted the humidity by 10%. No it does not have a Humistat or automatic shutoff. I recommend getting a digital Humidity sensor and using that to monitor your humidity and adjust the unit between the various speeds. I like the La Crosse Solar Powered Temperature station myself. September 27, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lasko 3-Gallon Recirculating Humidifier Very easy to fill, and I love that I'm not having to fill it up every 24 hours unless it's been extra-dry that day. I also like that I don't have to clean it nearly as often as other humidifiers I've owned. The water constantly circulating seems to help keep it fresh and there's not nearly as much buildup. And the output is good for a dry place. My old humidifiers couldn't keep up, but this one is doing well. Easy to care for, easy to fill, easy to maintain. Works great for me! January 5, 2010
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by leaks and damages wood floors We puchased two of these for two rooms in our apt. They are constructed cheaply and they leaked water, damaging our wood floors. Refilling was problematic. Cleaning was tedious. December 10, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great top loading Humidifier I really enjoy being able to fill this humidifier from the top. I've had some of the ones that you have to move the tanks to the water source and they nearly killed me! This is the second one of this kind that I have had. I accidentally poured water on the motor part and it quit working. It was three years old and was working well. I just had to have another one. Have been using humidifier bacteria treatment in it. My son has allergies and he thinks it has helped him. We run a wood stove and the air is really dry. It seems to do a great job of putting moisture into the house. I would recommend for filling ease and efficiency as well as price. February 5, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Worked well at first ... ... then it started leaking from a seam in the front of the unit. The water noise did not bother us. If it weren't for the leak we'd still have it. January 1, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than others I have a larger Lasko recirculating humidifier in my living room that works great, so I didn't hesitate to order this one. Neither one is particularly quiet, so if you have it right in the room with you it can be annoying if you can't tune it out. Especially due to the recirculating water with this one - you hear water trickling. They also blow a lot of cold air, which is tough in the winter. BUT - they really work great and get the job done and that is most important. This one is very easy to fill with the window at the front. I let it run around the clock on low and need to fill it every other day. The only down side to this one that I couldn't have anticipated is that it rattles a bit if the top sits just a little off the base. I have something resting against it and that took care of it. Otherwise, compared to others I've used, this is a great humidifier that puts the moisture in the air. February 10, 2011
