We have this fan's larger brother....wonderful. Wanted a white one so got this one. Not nearly enough air flow....had to use it in a much smaller area with direct flow....get the larger one. this one looks nice...just not enough power.

Fan is light weight and quiet. Easy to assemble. Looks good. Like the remote & timer, 3 speeds.

Easy to assemble. Fan works fine but doesn't provide much power. Works fine for a small room.

My brother bought one of these in 2008 and I bought my own in 2010. Back then, this was one of the only slim tower models. The fan is the kind of drum fan found in the swamp cooler, except tall and thin. It is NOT just an ordinary three blade fan pushing the air out of the vertical slots. It has three speeds. Mine is still reasonably quiet although it was quieter when it was new. It only has one small light to bother you if it's by your bed with you are sleeping. You want to use a more to point directly at you while sleeping, sitting, at your desk in an office, etc. While it does oscillate, that is probably one of its weakest features. I have dropped the remote from 4 feet onto tile floor at least two dozen times. Sometimes it comes apart, but snaps back together with no problem. The remote sensor basis both horizontal and vertical so that you can easily control it from bed. I have had problems with other fans that require the remote to shoot down. It has four simple well spaced good-sized pushbuttons on the fan itself that have tactile feedback. They do not have a touch control screen. Don't laugh, some of the new expensive ones seem to have that. Good luck trying to fall asleep while staring at a screen the size of a early iPhone. If you want this form factor for a fan, but don't want to spend a small fortune for the numerous competitors that now exists, get this one. Mine still oscillates, but not silky smooth. And I haven't used that feature too much. So if you are positive you want one that oscillates, maybe spend a bit more and get a different one. However, this is not a whole room fan by any stretch of the imagination. You can feel the air on you from 8 to 10 feet. But that its outside limit. Its value is excellent. The only reason I gave a four stars instead of five was on the assumption that the newer more expensive ones *might*be quieter and/or do a better job at oscillating.

reviewed this prior to purchase and agree with reviews. It's quiet, cool and good value for the price. The remote is convenient as I have the fan in a corner. They are lite in weight and easy to assemble. Bought 2 in hopes the reviews were right and they were.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by grac84e This is one of the best oscillating tower fans I've ever had. Works great!
My last tower fan stopped working and I felt that I couldn't get one as good as it was. Wrong! This one is far superior to the last one. Great price, shipping and service. Highly recommended.

The fan has been quiet and functions well. The base was easy to put together and the remote is convenient. The only complaint I have regarding this fan is that my previous tower fan, (made by a different manufacturer) of approximately the same size, had more air power than this one. This one is perfect for a smaller room --not necessarily for a Family-size room. The last fan had a long life span of 5 years (running throughout the year for some weeks continuously). I hope this one has that kind of stamina!
