The box arrived damaged and opened. Once I opened the box and assembled I noticed a side panel was dented. When the fan is powered on and oscillating it is extremely loud. I only use this fan in a stationary mode and on low, otherwise it is too loud and unbearable.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MVMike I'm a big fan of this unit !!
I bought this model at the beginning of last Summers heat. It has worked flawlessly for a year now. It is quieter than other tower fans I've experienced at friends homes. It's amazing how much cooler it can make a room feel. It allows us to put off turning on the AC by 5 more degrees. The remote works perfectly. No problems with the oscillation mentioned by a few other reviewers. It is able to create a nice breeze on low power that covers our entire 15 x 15 tv room. I'm here online to buy 2 more this year before the Summer rush for other rooms replacing old 12" table top fans. So glad these are still available. Great bargain.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Michelle Not very powerful, just 'ok'
My amazing dad brought me one of these fans today as a surprise because I'd been complaining about the heat and our old & broken fans. I love that it has a remote! It's not nearly as powerful as our other fans, but it's much, much more quiet and I do love that. I'd say that if you don't care about a lot of power and want the convenience of a remote, this is a great fan. If you want to spend a little less money and need something a bit more powerful, get one of the Lasko Performance Series fans - those suckers are AWESOME! The ONLY thing I don't like about those is the extremely wide base - they take up so much room. Thanks for reading!

Rated 4 out of 5Â by thebighash Great Fan - Could've used one lower setting
Purchased this fan a few days ago to reduce A/C usage in our living room. We are satisfied with the purchase.
Quality & Appearance:
The fan appears to be of good quality. It is plastic but does not feel cheap at all. It is light relative to its size. The finish quality is very good and the design is modern and sleek.
The 3 speed settings are good and you can notice a good difference from one setting to the next. We use it on Low (setting no.1) most of the time, which is still a little stronger than we would've liked. The fan is 8-10ft away from were we usually sit. That being said, I believe they could've added 1 more lower speed, which would also help reduce the noise a bit.
The noise level is acceptable relative to the air it blows. As I said I would've preferred a lower setting which would help lower the noise even more. You would still hear then fan at the lowest setting with the TV switched ON at low volume level. Once you crank up the TV volume a little bit the fan cannot be heard any more.
The fan has the following functions:
- 3 speeds
- Oscillation option (80 degrees range)
- Timer to go OFF (can be set from 1hr to 7hrs in 1hr increments)
- Ionizer (for odors)
The remote control (pic provided) is good but first the batteries are not included, and second, the buttons do not feel great. It does not look cheap but definitely feels so. The remote includes buttons to use all the functions including ON/OFF, adjusting the speed, selecting oscillation, setting the timer, and switching the ionizer.
The fan ships in a single tall box. You need to assemble the round base that comes in 2 pieces. 2 screws are included to join the 2 pieces together. Then you use the other 4 screws to attach the tower to the base. You need a philips head screwdriver but don't overscrew as the plastics could crack. Remember to pass the cable through the center of the base before attaching the tower to the base. Once assembled it should feel sturdy and rigid.
This is a good quality product that looks good and performs really well. My only recommendations would be to have 1 lower setting and to increase the oscillation range to 120 degrees rather than 80 degrees as some applications require so.
I added 4 pictures so I hope my review helps!
