CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.4 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by NOT reversible if you are looking for a reversible fan, DO NOT buy this product. like another reviewer here i assumed that reversible meant there would be a switch to change the direction on the air flow. that is NOT the case. to reverse the flow of air, you have to take it out of the window and physically turn the entire fan around. not the easiest thing to do with the window flaps in place and several stories up. maybe i'm naive, but if you use this company's definition of reversible would AL fans be reversible if you just turned them around? if thats the case, save yourself a lot of money and buy an inexpensive box fan and just rotate. this product is definitely NOT worth the full price! Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Suitable fan for price & odd-sized window This fan is louder than I expected but i'm getting used to it for a cooler bedroom. It fit perfectly in the odd-sized window (11in wide by 22in tall screen opening) and was light enough in weight that we didn't need to put in heavy brackets to keep it in place (the window is high up). When paired with another fan blowing cool in air from another window it cools down the room enough to be liveable in our loft-style bedroom. June 7, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Just the ticket This is our second Lasko. We moved and had an extra window needing to be cooled in the time between turning off the heat and needing to turn on the AC. It's quiet and moves a good amount of air. Perfect for bringing in fresh spring air. Also, we sometimes flip in around and use it to draw warm air out. April 30, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Look carefully before buying (Re: Reversible) I bought this fan at the end of season when it was marked down to half of what it is now so I wasn't terribly upset once I installed it and realized it's not as they make it sound. The "set to reversible" to me would indicate it's like every other reversible fan that has a switch to make it intake or exhaust. With this fan, set means you have to literally have to remove it from the window turn it around and put the window back down on it. If y ou're like me and installed as I did - it was installed with the side flaps and sealed so no bugs would come in and if it was turned off, minimal air would come in. For all intensive purposes if you look at the fan as this company describes it - ALL fans are thus reversible because all you have to do is turn them around. Every time I see this fan advertised I feel compelled to rate it because it is a very frustrating thing and had I paid full price I would have returned it because I can't reverse mine now and ruin the casing I've sealed around it. Other than that, the fan runs all the time and is so far a workhorse (9 months later). I gave it a 3 simply because it is a workhorse and the value for what I paid. Had I paid full price, again I would have returned it and I would have rated it a 1, maybe 2. Hope that helps to get full disclosure on how it operates because it doesn't have anything to set unless the company means set to exhaust/intake by setting it on the window sill. LOL May 11, 2010
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by buy the pelonis fan 260 cfm?!??!?! That is laughable. The Pelonis 9 in twin window fan can move up to 1400, is quieter and is cheaper. July 9, 2013
