Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Clayton great fan, poor shipping
Ordered this fan for our shop for the hot hot days we get. We received the fast pretty but we were great disappointed when we got it. I read some of the other reviews that said the hardware was missing thought maybe it was a fluke accident but when I received ours I found out that it wasn't. There wasn't but 3-4 bolts in the box and those only held the pole to the base, none of the nuts or bolts for the head to attach to the pole or the screws to hold the screen around the blades. Being that it was 110 outside and we needed that fan ASAP we went to Home Depot and bought some nuts and bolts to put it together. All that being said I called the 800# and talked with them about it and they ended up sending the missing hardware and since the fan had a little damage to it they gave me a credit on it as well. Once the fan is put together like Frankenstein it works great. Moves a lot of air and the oscillation feature is a huge help.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Rob good product but poorly packaged for shipping. Overall Okay!
First off the packaging was not good from Lasko. Parts were loosely packed especially the Fan blade itself. Opened to find scratches on the paint from parts touching during shipping. Also the Fan is not as powerful as I expected based on reviews I read. Must have your own tools to assemble . I would give this Fan 3 stars out of 5. Lasko needs to pay more attention to overall customer satisfaction. I recommend buying a 22 " floor Fan which will move a lot of air nicely for a lot less money. Hopes this helps in your decision making.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cath The horses love it!
We purchased this fan for our horse barn. The Colorado summers can be a bit hot, and the flies congregate there with the horses. This fan works great to circulate the air and cool things down. The increased airflow is also an effective fly deterrent. The fan is sturdy so we don't worry about the barn cat tipping it over, has a sealed motor for the dusty environment and didn't require an electrician to install. On "high", it can be noisy, but no more so than one might expect of a large fan. Rather than being outside in their room-to-run paddocks, our horses choose to stay in the barn during the day with their faces to the fan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Coorsy Great money saver for our club
I bought for use in the 2000 sq ft social room of our club.
It was an instant hit with everyone that entered - we aimed it slightly upward to avoid heavy direct wind on the members. I should note that we have expensive smoke eaters, ceiling fans, and two AC units but it was still very uncomfortable at times from heat smoke etc. WELL from the first minute this fan unit made a huge difference, everyone remarks about the improvement. We only have it on low speed but we were able to turn both AC units up by 2 degrees, the smoke is gone and the comfort level on hot days is fantastic.

I cool a 2800 sq ft shop and at low, it does the job of 3 fans. One problem: the QA for this product leaves a lot to be desired. The six screws for the back screen were missing, the square bolt for the base was missing, the shim for the base to the upright was nonexistant, the 1 & 1/2" carriage bolt was missing, and the two flat washers with a lock washer were missing. To do the job correctly, 15 minutes ... hunting up the hardware that was missing, 45 minutes. Having to write this by hunt and peck, another 5 minutes. If time is valuable, have someone else put it together.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Superintendent Great circulation!
The adjustments are still stuck, but these fans blow well and keep the air circulating. I used them to help cool and dry a wet hallway in a new build hotel. I will buy them again for the next job.

I bought two of these fans, but only need one. So I'm giving my parents one for their deck area. I have a large covered patio, witha large deck and pool. The one fan keeps the whole area...about 1500 square feet... breezy. And that's on low speed. The assembly is fairly easy, except for the fan cover...It was a little difficult to put on because the steel is so heavy. But the fan looks fashionable and not too industrial looking.
