This fan moves a lot of air. The room that was always the hottest, now is comfortable sleeping there. I got this Homedepot in-store for $35. Setup was super simple. Snapping the cage together needed two hands, cause when ur trying to snap on one side, u need a second pair of hands to make sure the opposite side doesn't get unsnapped in the process. All said and done it made the room sleepable!

The fan base needs more weight, the plastic front & back face grills are of a soft grade plastic and needs a more sturdier-thicker-harder gauge plastic, as for its power it's good but the previous critiques would improve sales!

I was happy with the price of this fan. It was very simple to put together. However, the part that keeps the blade in place was too small (that is the screw area). So basically I just inserted the blade and left out the part that holds it in place.Anyways it still works fine and it was too much bother to return it so I just kept the darn thing.
Plastic parts all around, blades too.Not a very sturdy fan but it does push a reasonable amount of breeze. Though if the weather is extremely hot then you can forget about it. No use in very hot temperatures.

This product was the only pedestal fan my local Home Depot had in stock at the store, despite the web page showing others as available at the store. I knew the low price would mean I was getting something of less quality than I really wanted, but good pedestal fans are hard to find in September. The fan moves air well, very good power. It was easy to assemble, except for attaching the front grill to the back grill. It is a plastic tab-in-slot scheme, and as soon as you get one put in, another one at the other side wants to pop out. I'm not looking forward to taking apart and reassembling for cleaning purposes. Tip: I got the tab-and-slots I had already done to hold still by tying them together with fishing line, until I got them all done, working around the rim of the grill.

This HAS to be the most resilient fan ever created. I've had it ten years and the last three have been outside. Through rain, cold, heat, and UV abuse, this fan keeps on spinning.

I bought this fan as a supplement to the air flow in my living room. It did NOT have a remote (sold out) , but I like the brand. On low speed I can barely hear the tv. This fan is fine for a work place or shop, but not a quiet area.
