Answer:
If you do manage to tip it over, the plastic blade assembly breaks easily, by cracking along one of the many seams on the hub. I had this happen to two of them, by getting knocked over onto a concrete floor,(long story)

Yes, it is plastic. If you want a metal one then this is not for you. However, for plastic, it does put out a lot of air.

yes it's plastic, you will pay much, much more for a metal fan. usually in the 99 dollar range, this is a good value, easy to take front grill off too for cleaning.

Answer:
The fan guard (cage), base, and blades are made of plastic. The motor casing and post are metal. The product is reasonably durable. You can get an all metal 20 inch pedestal fan from Home Depot but it is at least twice as noisy.

Answer:
It is plastic and not particularly well designed. The grill is difficult to remove and reinstall and the fan must be lifted by the base. Lifting the fan motor will cause the motor to separate from the base.

It comes in a flat box about 6"or 8" high about 24" square box best I remember It be the diameter of the base or the fan housing the base is not attach you will have to attach it when you assemble it. This is very good fan.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by assembly It took only 5 min to put this together. Fan works great not that loud and it seems to move a lot of air. May 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy fan the fan is well constructed, it look nice in black. it produce good ventilation. The price is reasonable. The only thing that is not good is the sound that it produce, its to loud. It can be use outside but not recommended for interior or sleeping area. May 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Satisfied with purchase Bought 4 fans and one did not work after putting together. Not sure what the issue is Other then that happy with other 3. May 3, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It is quite sturdy and fast Brought the fact after our old fan broke. This was the only option available in most of the stores to be brought instantly . The fan is big and throws plenty of air considering that it is mostly plastic and serves the purpose quite good. The fan has big fins and big base and is quite sturdy and is not any much nosier than others, although might be little less, however I now consider the noise to be white noise and it infact helps me sleep now so would ignore that aspect. Considering the cost and the purpose, I would surely recommend this and infact was thinking of buying another one for my living room as well. March 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT BUY I bought this product and right away it was broken. While assembling it I noticed the the head did not match front to back. I quickly returned it. I bought a new one and it had the same issues. This time I noticed that the instructions said to call the company. I called the company and they said they could not do anything for me. So now I am stuck with this broken fan. DO NOT buy this fan. April 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoJo I put the fan together in 15 minutes, very easy. The hardest part was lining up the plastic cage. Put it on a flat surface, lined it up, and it went together easily. I have it in our hallway to blow air to each of my rooms. On low it blows a strong stream of air. The two other speeds are very powerful, and I don't see that it's necessary to use them. The fan does tilt back and osculates at a 180 degrees. A lot of other reviews said it was noisy, but for my use I don't think that it is noisy. The fan cage seems to be a little flimsy until you get it together. I also used two small screws, which I supplied, in the fan cage. the holes are already drilled, to keep it together so it wouldn't separate. I'm very satisfied with this fan, it's low cost, and would recommend it to anyone that's buying one. April 4, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Extremely loud... cheap plastic JUNK Needed a fan solution for a low ceiling bedroom. Picked this up knowing it would likely not be good enough, but it was all my local home depot had on hand in late March. Very cheap and flimsy plastic construction and louder than most of the 20+ inch industrial fans I've encountered over the years. After 20 minutes I had a headache and proceeded to disassemble it to return. March 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lasko Fan It is a great product and works great. It was very easy to install. March 22, 2016
