Answer:
the body of the fan is plastic so it can be wiped clean with a cloth..the fan blades and inside according to instructions should be "vacuumed" with a dust attachment..you cannot take the back or front off to clean the blades..

Answer:
Just cleaned my old one, very easy to do. Two small screws hold cover face on, remove the screws and loosen tabs, comes right off. Used paper towels to clean fan blades and a small brush to clean front and back grills. Ten to fifteen minutes max.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 160 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great value! Ordered yesterday and arrived today! Love the tilt feature and quiet 3 speed options. This is my second time purchasing this fan in 8 years (I accidentally broke my last one). Thanks Home Depot! September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great air flow from this fan. Great air flow from this fan. Swivel base has nice click in place feel that holds position well September 7, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by THESE FANS ARE THE BEST ! ! ! Since moving to south Florida 4 years ago we quickly realized our A/C needed HELP, so we bought these fans - 4 of them ! They are THE best ! Yes, 1 was a lemon but it was quickly returned and replaced with no problem. They run 24 / 7 / 365 days a year and they last and last and last ! Yes, they do eventually wear out - after 3 yrs,1 quit - but we're SO excited because 5 just came in on the truck at our local Home Depot who had NONE yesterday and we're on our way to be rescued ! ! :-) If you buy some you won't be disappointed ! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Powerful, and they set on a window sill We've now used them all summer to cool our house in the evenings and early mornings. They set on a window sill and are far more powerful than the typical window fan unit. The only downside is that a window won't close around them due to the shape, if that matters. Yes, they're louder than a smaller fan, but not unreasonably loud considering their size and the amount of air they move. We're very happy. Bought four total and use them daily. August 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cyclone Fan The fan moves a significant amount of air. I use in the doorway between a room hat has air conditioning and one that does not. The fan sucks the cool air from the one room to the other and this results in cooling both rooms. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well worth the price This is a great fan for the price. We use two on either side of the bed and they create a terrific wind tunnel. Love that it locks into position. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very powerful for its size This fan is very powerful and quiet. It did a great job - we initially needed to dry out a wet carpet, and this fit the bill. We are using it for general comfort air circulation in the bedroom. August 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Fan Fan works nicely and looks good. Not super noisy but do wish it was a little quieter. August 21, 2016
