Customer Questions & Answers

I'm looking for a personal heater for my work desk. Will this give off enough heat placed on my desk?

It's not freezing in here but my fingertips feel so cold by the end of they day. I just want something to place on my desk where I can feel the heat while I sit here, which is literally all day. Will I feel the heat off this? How close would I have to place it to me to feel the heat? I usually like to be SUPER warm when I use heaters so the warmer the better.
Asked by: Lia
I think if you have it on your desk or under your desk directly facing you, it should be enough heat.

Can I connected in the car ?

Asked by: David
It needs 120 volts to run. An inverter in your car to change 12 volts DC to 120 volts AC would cost about 10 time the cost of the heater.

Absolutely! It warms up my 10X12 study pretty quick where I don't need to wear a sweater anymore.

I have it under my desk. I have to have it pointed right at my ankles to feel much heat. I don't expect much heat for a 200 watt heater, but it puts out enough to make me comfortable at work and I haven't blown any fuses!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall good product I work for a local government agency - space heaters are (were) not allowed. They would blow circuits and are a potential fire hazard. As a result of cost saving measures, my employer altered the temperature settings during the winter months and my hands would literally go numb while working on my computer. Enough staff members were purchasing "illegal" space heaters that they decided to implement a new policy. Space heaters WOULD be allowed if they met certain criteria. I did some independent research and found this product to meet the criteria set by my employeer. It doesn't "blast" the heat, but it does take the chill out of the air and makes my working environment more enjoyable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just right! This tiny heater is perfect for under your desk to warm your feet, or to put on the floor or end table while you're reading or watching TV. It's extremely quiet, and puts out a gentle warmth that's not too hot to put very close by. It's so quiet that it won't distract from conversation or force you to raise the volume on your TV.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from economical for spot heating it doesn't guzzle electricity which is great during economic hard times or power outages. but it's also only good for spot heating. the reviews from other customers convinced me to give this a try even though it wasn't in-store in my area.
