With hot, summer days, we found that one of best ways to cut down on air conditioning costs is to have a high quality and powerful fan to draw the air from the cool basement and push it upstairs. The claim that this is a high velocity pivoting fan was just what we needed to do the job. We are very pleased with the volume of air which the fan throws upstairs and our upstairs is much cooler than having to run our more expensive air conditioner.
Buying in this fan has been one of the best investments we have ever made!

I unpacked the fan, plugged it in, and it was ready to go, cooling the room that can become stifling in this hot FL weather. I recommend this to everyone!! I actually ordered two: one for the living room and another for the kitchen. We don't have A/C, so I was very happy with the performance of this fan; it made working in the kitchen much more comfortable. This fan has a lot of power and two outlets on the side. A lot of wonderful pluses with this fan!.

High Velocity and Quiet. I bought this after seeing multiple units at my personal trainers gym. I have been using a table top 40 fan that didn't move that much air and it always seemed to rattle annoying others in the house.
I bought this purposely to place behind my treadmill and keep the perspiration "in check" during treadmill work outs. I was amazed how much air this moved and how quietly it did it. Yes, you can hear the air blowing, but you are hard pressed to hear mechanical sounds coming out of the fan. So, my family is pleased by the reduction in noise, and I am happily less soaked when I step off the treadmill.
I have to believe this fan would work wonderfully blowing across wet flooring, I mean it moves a lot of air.

We have hot water heat in our home. The kitchen is the largest room and has the least amount of floor boards. And also has the thermostat that controls two other rooms. The furnace has a hard time trying to get the kitchen up to the set temperature. Meanwhile the other two rooms are boiler room hot. We use the air mover to blow the hot air from the hottest room into the kitchen.
Last year we used two standard fans and had two months where the heating bill was over $500. This year with the air mover (without the two standard fans), the highest bills were $280 and $356. Of course we still have February, but the air mover has already paid for itself and saved us money on the heating bills. It is also very quiet considering the amout of air it is moving.

Saved me from a broken upstairs AC unit. It effectively pushed the cool air from downstairs up to the 2nd floor.

Great buy!!!! Runs quietly and blows out very cool air. Like the two 120v outlets, and the different directions of air flow.

Money well spent, Personally I work 15+ hours a day and typically don't run my AC all day while away from home to save on energy. When I get home a cool down session is needed. Plugged it in… and it knocked the heat out of furthest room from the window unit within minutes.

I found this fan when I was at my local Home Depot. As I walked by I felt a gush of very cool air. For a second, I thought it was the A/C. But when I turned around and went to look for the source of this very refreshing air, I saw that it was this fan. I have two at my house and three at work. It has this great concentration of air which is really, really, really great. The fan is nice compliment for the little A/C that I get at work. And, at home I do not have central A/C, but the fan makes my living room comfortable--again it compliments the A/C that I do have. But, make no mistake, on its own, when I do not need to have the A/C on, this little fan does a great job at keeping the living room comfortable.
