Answer:
I would say about 90-100 degrees. It works better in a corner where it won't touch the walls and still cover a wide area. I use it by my bed to get a breeze from the head to the foot of the bed without any problems.

I am looking for something REAL SIMPLE to assemble! What do you have to do to assemble this particular fan? Also, some online reviews at websites mention screws are NOT included. Is that so? Thank you.

Very simple and straight forward. There are 6 screws that are involved at the base. There is no other assembly required.

Answer:
I am not handy AT ALL and I had this fan up and running in about ten minutes. The only assembly required is to attach the base and screws are included. Just look at the directions - make sure where the base is marked 'rear' is to the back of the fan, insert the screws (thumbscrews - didn't even need a screwdriver) and you are good to go! Easy peasy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This fan is excellent. It blows cool air to cool you but without all of the wind blown feel. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I love it Great fan for a great price. I like remote it's so convenient, the fan is easy to use and it really cools down my room. October 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Searched various fans after having to replace a Lasko which didn't last more than a year for kitchen circulation and Golden Retriever who loves the fan too . Great fan, quiet, and has good direction section. Love this fan and would recommend just hope it last longer. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good fan for the price Brings in air low to the ground where it's cooler. Good investment for a space that's about 400 sq ft. I was looking for quiet, economical, above-average airflow, a timer feature would be a plus, and the ionizer is also a plus but not needed. Often, I have it on Speed 1, which is more than enough to circulate air. The plastic base the fans sits on is a bit wobbly. It is rather top-heavy, if the base was heavier, I think it would have been quite sturdy and durable. August 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Money well spent I was looking into a dyson ionizing fan, but they were running for around $200-300. This is the best purchase I could have made. I used it to help combat the NY heat in the summer and it helped reduce the constant problem of dust in the apartment. September 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy customer I bought this fan for my mom. She is so happy with it, I'm glad I bought it September 8, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best fan for a Dorm Room My son always complained about how hot an stuffy his College Dorm room was. Not now!, now it the place to get together and study September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by second purchase of this great fan We really like this fan, so I bought a second one for another room. I like that it blows cool air. September 13, 2016
