It was easy to apply but you need to mix very well, use paint mix drill thing.
I poured it straight onto the driveway and then used a roller to spread it out.
Temperature was in the 70's and it dries much quicker and uses more per square foot as it gets hotter in the day. It covers well and you have to go over the same area a few times to make sure you get everything.
Use wide paint brush to paint edges if you have brick.
BUY MUCH MORE THAN YOU THINK, you will need it, you can always return what you do not use.
I calculated that I needed 8 but I used 14 until I was satisfied.

Very easy to mix , rolled on like paint I did find that it is easier to apply by dipping the roller into
the bucket rather than pouring the product on the driveway. It was 80 degrees when applied
could walk on it in 1hr. and drove on it in 3 hrs . Very smooth matte finish, roller and brushes cleaned up with soap and water. The Ohio winter will be the test if stays on I will be very satisfied.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tarheel Great result requiring a fair amount of work.
I prepped the driveway (2250 sq. ft.) with driveway cleaner and a pressure washer. Fixed the larger cracks with Trowel-patch which worked better than the Crack repair tube, both by Latex-ite. The prep work took about three hours.
Being fairly obsessive-compulsive, I had my daughter brush the driveway edges with the Acrylic-plus while I rolled on the product with help from my son and wife. We needed to lay on a fair amount as my driveway had not been sealed in 15 years. This took about 6 man-hours. I did achieve about 450 sq.ft. per 4 gallon container. If it holds up for the advertised 10 years, I'll be very pleased.

My driveway is about 1300 sq ft. I used the less expensive "Airport grade" version of this product 3 years ago. I used 3.5 buckets at the time, and my driveway was very streaky. Was not too happy with the results. This time I decided to try this more expensive product, the Acrylic plus, and all i can say is wow. Easier to mix, easier to apply, used WAY less (2 buckets), and there are virtually no streaks. The only warning I have for anyone considering this product is don't expect it to fill in cracks, even hairline, as advertised, because it won't. Then again neither will the airport grade. Get your own separate sealer for your cracks. See pictures. Very happy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FranklinConley Revitalized neglected asphalt driveway!
Although somewhat slow to apply, this product really covered the asphalt well - even the small holes and cracks. It dries very fast and that makes it easier on the family. I got good coverage, too, especially considering the condition of my driveway (I should have done this several years ago).

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by FrequentDepotShopper Excellent finish but coverage area per 4 gallon is awful!
The bucket says for porous/non sealed asphalt expect 200 sq ft coverage. Completely inaccurate. My asphalt is old, never been sealed, and has numerous cracks. I went through and filled all the cracks as instructed prior to sealing and I used a shop floor squeegie to spread the sealant. I was lucky to get 50 sq ft out of a 4 gallon bucket. Ridiculous. At > 40 a bucket my small size parking lot has taken over $2000 worth of this product... and I'm not finished. It looks great when its done but if you have old asphalt with an uneven surface you better stock up or be prepared to make NUMEROUS trips back to The Depot to keep buying more. If you're loaded (like my boss) then I recommend this product. If not, you'll go broke thinking, "I only need 1-2 more buckets to finish." Buy 5 at a time and save yourself the trouble.
I attached a picture of the quality of my asphalt for your comparison.

I left a review a few months ago when I first applied this product about how it doesn't get anywhere near the advertised coverage area. Well, now there is a new problem. Peeling! I swept the parking lot, used a pressure washer with just water, then solvent mixture, then water again. I used a blower after all that to make sure everthing was off. Prep complete. I used TWO coats and still had to go back and touch up spots with a brush. There are countless spots where there are black flakes just sitting next to bare asphalt. Even now new tire tracks seem to pull it up off the asphalt. It is NOT a high traffic lot either. What a waste of time and money.
I couldn't be any more disappointed in this product. After hours of prep and multi layered application and not allowing vehicles on it for 48hrs, it looks terrible. Avoid this product at all costs. There are cheaper and higher quality prodcuts out there. I attached pictures to show what is happening ALL OVER the lot.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by AV Not a good experience
The product seemed to have fairly good reviews so I pulled the trigger purchased 8 four gallon buckets. I prepared my driveway as per instructions printed on container. The product applied easily just rolling it on and seemed to dry in three days of warm sunlight. We stayed off the driveway during this time even though the manufacture claimed it would be drive-able in 8 hours. The fourth day it rained. (We live in Seattle) I started to notice black tire tracks leading out of our wet driveway as we drove the car in and out. Additionally we started tracking black shoe prints when walking on to our front porch from the driveway. Our driveway is slightly down hill. Now it's 3 months latter after several rains I'm beginning to notice black sediment gunk collecting at the lower end of the driveway. This gunk gets on everything it touches so I'm continually having wash off the driveway to prevent us from tracking black gunk everywhere. I am extremely disappointed with this product in my case. Maybe I just got a bad batch don't know. If you do purchase this product I would highly recommend you do a 5x10' test area first to see how effective it is on your driveway - keep your receipt so you can take the remainder back for a refund if it doesn't work out - and then please let Home Depot know this product has quality control issues.
