Product Overview

(Note: If product is not available to order in your area that is due to nighttime temperatures. Product may not cure and/or track in late Fall and early Spring applications). Acrylic Plus is a new rollable acrylic based formula designed to be extremely durable and flexible while maintaining its rich, black color. Acrylic Plus contains natural fillers to help fill hairline cracks and give you a non-skid finish. Designed for good condition driveways (Either unsealed or previously sealed). Do not use Acrylic Plus on poor condition, rough driveways or if driveway contains cracks. For porous driveways or blacktop that is not compacted well we recommend using one of our sealers that contains more filler properties: Airport Grade, Optimum or Ultra Shield. Helpful Hints before you seal your driveway: 1. Do the project all at one time without starting and stopping. 2. Check the weather and make sure no rain is forecast and it is at least 50 Degree at night (A cold driveway will not allow the sealer to cure properly).

California residents: see   Proposition 65 information

  • Do not use a squeegee or brush with acrylic plus or you significantly risk cracking and/or peeling
  • Approximately 700 sq. ft. to 800 sq. ft. coverage for good, smooth, or previously sealed blacktop
  • Approximately 600 sq. ft. to 700 sq. ft. coverage for moderate surfaces with minor/hairline cracking
  • Approximately 400 sq. ft. to 600 sq. ft. coverage for unsealed or graying blacktop (do not use on poor condition, very rough / porous blacktop - use a sealer with more filler properties)
  • Remember: clean your driveway thoroughly so sealer will bond and make sure you do not seal when it is cold outside, it must be at least 55 Degrees at night for sealer to properly cure and last
  • Do not seal in early spring or late fall as the sealer will not last - it will not cure properly and may track
  • Easy to apply with a roller, use 3/8 in. nap or 1/2 in. nap if never been sealed
  • New fortified formula is non-skid and fills hairline cracks
  • Fast dry formula - ready for foot traffic in 1 hour and car traffic in only 4 hours (allow more time if shaded)
  • Acrylic formula - built in primer for enhanced durability
  • No fade technology: stays deep, matte black
  • Low VOC formula, cleans up with soap and water
  • Assurance: we stand behind our warranty - it is not prorated

Customer Questions & Answers

Approximately how long does this coating last ?

What makes this coating worth the high price of it ?

What is the recommended temperature range to apply the sealer? By noon it was 90 and not spreading well.

Asked by: mike
70s is no problem. Low 80s ok but high 80s not that good. Forget 90s unless you stir regularly and use as quickly as possible. Also, much easier for you to work when not in 90s. Just start off earlier in the day when no hot.

Can you apply using spray equipment

Is it thin enough to use hydraulic spray equipment?
Asked by: AW
This stuff is really thick. I doubt you could spray it. It has some kind of sand material in it.

Sealing a two-year-old blacktop driveway, a question about

Is this Latex-ite 4-GAL. Acrylic Plus Driveway Revitalizer Filler/Sealer a perfect choice for sealing a two-year-old blacktop driveway that has never been sealed? If it isn't, then which product is a better choice? (Note that I'm looking for a long-lasting sealer that is impervious to oil and other type fluid leaking from parking cars.) Thank You.
Asked by: td248
I just used it on a 10 year old driveway, and it just works for most of it.For some of the serious wear issues, I may have to resort to something else I did like how easy it went on. It covered 90% of the surface quickly.

The product was expensive and required extra time to roll on, so I expected good results. However, it began to flake off in a month and was almost completely gone in eight months. It wasted my time and money and has left a flaky mess around my yard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great driveway sealer. Have used this... This is a great driveway sealer. Have used this product two times before and it is very easy to work with and does a great, long lasting job. Best part, as instructions say, you can walk on it after one hour and drive on it after 3 hours of rolling it on. Be sure to mix it thoroughly before use.

After use this sealer and over a winter , you need to replace your entire driveway very soon! I did fill/seal my driveway by myself for over 20 years. I hope I should listen to other reviewers for this product. After one week to apply the 1st thin coat with this product on my driveway last year, I had a 2nd thin coat on it with the product instruction. It was easy to apply with a large roller (it is the only benefit for this product). After it done, it looked nice. But it didn't last longer. For a couple months later, my driveway started cracking everywhere at the beginning of the winter. I tried with other products to repair the cracking lines. But they were too many, day after day. Besides, there was no way to fix the cracking during the winter time. Then after several raining in the winter, my whole driveway surface was gone. I'm so sad to make this review. You may check the ad, this product doesn't come with any warranty notice on the label. You choose it as your own risky!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thrilled with this product My driveway is about 1300 sq ft. I used the less expensive "Airport grade" version of this product 3 years ago. I used 3.5 buckets at the time, and my driveway was very streaky. Was not too happy with the results. This time I decided to try this more expensive product, the Acrylic plus, and all i can say is wow. Easier to mix, easier to apply, used WAY less (2 buckets), and there are virtually no streaks. The only warning I have for anyone considering this product is don't expect it to fill in cracks, even hairline, as advertised, because it won't. Then again neither will the airport grade. Get your own separate sealer for your cracks. See pictures. Very happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great result requiring a fair amount of work. I prepped the driveway (2250 sq. ft.) with driveway cleaner and a pressure washer. Fixed the larger cracks with Trowel-patch which worked better than the Crack repair tube, both by Latex-ite. The prep work took about three hours. Being fairly obsessive-compulsive, I had my daughter brush the driveway edges with the Acrylic-plus while I rolled on the product with help from my son and wife. We needed to lay on a fair amount as my driveway had not been sealed in 15 years. This took about 6 man-hours. I did achieve about 450 sq.ft. per 4 gallon container. If it holds up for the advertised 10 years, I'll be very pleased.
